Dentro de las cosas que más disfruto, además de la poesía es pasear por la ciudad con mi hijo. Me encanta llevarlo a tomar helado, a almorzar, al parque infantil o a la pelota.
Hello dear friends of HIVE. Thank you for the opportunity to share the events, experiences, dreams and joys that we live every day. One of the things I enjoy most, besides poetry, is walking around the city with my son. I love to take him out for ice cream, lunch, to the playground or to play ball.
Adoro ver cómo se asombra por cada cosa que va aprendiendo. Disfruta mucho conversar conmigo por eso a cada rato me invita o lo invito a recorrer la ciudad de Pinar del Río. Uno de los lugares que prefiere es Glikis una cafetería muy acogedora donde se almuerza un variado menú y siempre como postre hay helado. Este es un lugar mágico para mi hijo porque tiene una linda pecera con peces de variados colores. El se queda mirándola con alegría.
I love to see how he is amazed by everything he learns. He enjoys talking to me so much that he invites me or I invite him to visit the city of Pinar del Río. One of the places he prefers is Glikis, a very cozy cafeteria where they have a varied menu for lunch and always ice cream for dessert. This is a magical place for my son because it has a beautiful fish tank with fish of various colors. He stares at it with joy.
Le encanta también pasar por Coppelia con su cola incluida. Allí conoce a los más pintorescos personajes de la ciudad, compra maní y conversa con otros niños mientras le toca entrar. Otra vez va corriendo al estanque donde hay muchos peces y se le queda mirando como si quisiera contarlos, allí que hay tantos peces como estrellas en el cielo.
He also loves to stop by Coppelia with his tail included. There he meets the most colorful characters of the city, buys peanuts and chats with other children while he goes inside. Another time he runs to the pond where there are many fish and stares at them as if he wanted to count them, there are as many fish as there are stars in the sky.
Otro lugar maravilloso es el parque infantil "Paquito González", allí monta los caballitos, los aviones y los botes que son los equipos que más le gusta. Montar en poni o en el carrito tirado por un Chivo gigante, donde solo montan niñitos pequeñitos. También ahí compraba libros de cuentos, juguetes y algunas confiterías. Hace amiguitos que durarán todo el día hasta que llegue a casa y se rinda por un buen baño.
Another wonderful place is the playground "Paquito Gonzalez", where he rides the horses, airplanes and boats which are the equipment he likes the most. Riding a pony or in the cart pulled by a giant goat, where only little kids ride. There he also bought story books, toys and some candy stores. He makes friends that will last all day until he gets home and gives up for a good bath.
El paseo que más disfruta es cuando vamos al estadio "Capitán San Luis". Allí ve batear a su querido amigo Luis Pablo Acosta. Conversa con mucha gente que le aporta un poquito más de conocimientos sobre la pelota. Allí le enseño el valor de la honestidad y el respeto al contrario. Le encanta disfrutar de un buen juego de sus queridos pativerdes y bailar con la conga de nuestro equipo.
The outing he enjoys the most is when we go to the "Capitán San Luis" stadium. There he sees his dear friend Luis Pablo Acosta at bat. He talks to many people who give him a little more knowledge about baseball. There I teach him the value of honesty and respect for his opponents. He loves to enjoy a good game of his beloved pativerdes and dance with the conga of our team.
En el "Capitán San Luis" conoció a Yosvani Torres, tremendo pelotero, que se detuvo un momento para saludarlo y le pidió que estudiara y se cuidara mucho. También conoció a Donal Duarte y hasta se tiró una foto con la mascota del equipo de La Capital, Industriales, que aunque no quiere que gane ve muy atractivo al león.
At "Capitán San Luis" he met Yosvani Torres, a tremendous baseball player, who stopped for a moment to greet him and asked him to study and take good care of himself. He also met Donal Duarte and even took a picture with the mascot of the team from La Capital, Industriales, who, although he doesn't want him to win, finds the lion very attractive.

De regreso a casa siempre pide pasar por el parque de la "Independencia" o por el "José Martí". Allí me hace preguntas de la historia del lugar, juega con otros niños o mira como los más grandes montan patinetas, patines o hacen acrobacias en bicicletas. Un día se encontró con Carolina una niñita que fue nuestra vecina y que se mudó a otro extremo de la ciudad. Él la quiere mucho, sus ojitos brillaron de alegría y la niña corrió a su encuentro y tomó por el brazo a su amiguito y lo llevó a donde estaba su mamá.
On the way home he always asks to stop by the "Independencia" or "José Martí" parks. There he asks me questions about the history of the place, plays with other children or watches how the older ones ride skateboards, roller skates or do acrobatics on bicycles. One day he met Carolina, a little girl who was our neighbor and who moved to another end of the city. He loves her very much, her eyes sparkled with joy and the little girl ran to meet him and took his little friend by the arm and took him to her mother.

Fue mágico el encuentro, por unos minutos se sentaron en un escalón y conversaron como dos adultos, luego se fueron a correr. Pasear con mi niño es una experiencia maravillosa pues la infancia vuelve a renacer en mi. Poder divertirme con él, estar presente en sus preocupaciones y sus sonrisas es un privilegio maravilloso.
It was magical, for a few minutes they sat on a step and talked like two adults, then they went for a run. Walking with my child is a wonderful experience because childhood is reborn in me. To be able to have fun with him, to be present in his worries and his smiles is a wonderful privilege.
Amigos compartir con los hijos es una bendición, enseñarles lugares bonitos ayudarles a conocer el mundo, formar sus valores y fortalecer su personalidad es una obra de infinito amor. Si tienen niños no pierdan esa oportunidad única, porque mañana como un espejo, ellos nos devolverán la joya del amor que pusimos en sus corazones. Ojalá todos tengamos esa maravillosa dicha.
