Good morning, friends of the Vibes contest. Welcome once again to my blog, where today I'm going to talk to you about some mistakes I've noticed in certain entries and tell you about some techniques to perfect your technique.
When it comes to singing, it's not just about finding a song you like and doing a cover and that's it, no, it's really about finding a song that suits your tone and timbre of voice, and that you also feel confident singing it, because many times, you have a beautiful voice, but you don't choose a song with the right characteristics for that voice, and the result will not be what you expected.
I was looking at several entries and I couldn't help but notice some of them where there were several mistakes, and I thought it necessary to let you know so that you can correct them for future presentations.

If your vocal tone is low, and you sing a song with high and high tones, it is very likely that you will chrome, or you will need to falsetto to get there, and vice versa. These things don't always look good and can make the song lose quality when you listen to it, because when you cover a song you don't want to be better than the original singer, you want to do your own version and make it enjoyable for the listener.
On the other hand, breath control, proper management of pauses and rhythm in the narration is crucial to keep the listener's attention and convey the message effectively.
To get a good result after recording a cover, you must take into account, in addition to the vocal characteristics, the sound of the audio that will be used, because just as a song that you can't get the tones right would sound bad, so would a karaoke that is too high, too low on the voice. This would pass the voice, or the voice would cover the sound, which is not desired. For example, in these entries this error was most noticeable.
To perfect your vocal technique and improve these aspects, I recommend some vocal warm-up exercises.
-Practice deep and controlled breathing.
-Vowel vocalisation, you will do this by pronouncing the five vowels (a, e, i, o, u).
- Make quick and soft trills by moving your tongue and lips quickly.
-Practice tongue twisters, as well as reading aloud, is also very effective for improving vocalisation.
-To improve the resonance of your voice, a very effective technique is to keep your mouth open when speaking.
Practise voice-over techniques through recordings of professionally voiced texts.
Last but not least, I recommend recording your voice for self-evaluation, as there is no better judge than ourselves to evaluate ourselves.
I hope this post is not only helpful for these entries, but for everyone in general, as we always learn something new.
