We gathered at my Aunt’s house where you can see in the image below, in the centre of the table is a steaming pot of steamboat, a traditional Chinese dish.
The steamboat was the perfect way to bring the family together and celebrate the start of a new year.
The smell of steaming hot steamboat wafted through the air, and my family was already drooling in anticipation of the delicious feast. Everyone gathered around the table, and the steamboat was set up in the middle. The steamboat was filled with a variety of ingredients, including cheese balls, pork balls, prawns, scallops, and abalones. Everyone was just too eager to dig in.
