I was getting ready for bed one night, going about my usual routine of taking a quick shower. After adjusting the water temperature, I stepped in, feeling the warm water cascade down my back. As I relished in the sensation, I heard faint murmurs coming from somewhere in the bathroom. I paused for a moment, thinking it was just my imagination, but the sound persisted. Curious and a little scared, I cautiously got out of the shower and wrapped a towel around me.
I tiptoed to the other side of the bathroom, where the sound was coming from. I slowly opened the shower curtain and peeked inside.
To my horror, I saw a figure cloaked in a black hooded robe, with its back facing me. I gasped and tried to scream, but I was too scared. In an instant, the figure turned around and revealed a terrifyingly pale face with no eyes, just two empty sockets.
I screamed and ran out of the bathroom, my heart pounding in my chest. As I raced down the hallway, I heard a voice calling my name. I stopped in my tracks and glanced behind me. The figure was standing at the end of the hallway, beckoning me with its hands. As I stood there frozen in fear, it took a few steps closer, still calling my name. I heard it say, "Come closer, child. "I won't hurt you".
Frightened and confused, I stumbled backwards until my back hit the wall. I could feel the creature's icy breath on my face as it reached out with its skeletal hands and gently touched my cheek. I was too scared to move. I just stared back into its empty eyes, feeling helpless and hopeless. Then it muttered something that sent a chill down my spine:
"This house will be your grave".
