In these world full surprises, nothing is definitely impossible
It is very much possible for us to experience a sudden blackout. But the important questions are
will it affect us?
In what ways will it affect us?
Are we going to survive?
Considering the fact that these present generation has been nurtured with technology how are we going to survive, earn a living and live a normal life
There is no doubt that if the world suddenly experience total blackout , that it will surely affect every single being on earth, both young and old, infants and toddlers. So the answer to that question is yes , it will definitely affect us.
The list is endless , it will affect us in so many ways. Let's take for instance
- Means of communications (internet connections)*
This is going to be the most affected area considering the fact that even a toddler is being taught how to make use of the internet.
Every means of communication that has to do with technology will be shut down.
No phone calls, no emailing, no text messages. Every one will have to travel a long distance with before form of communication can take place.
- Means of transportation
We will experience halt in every means of transportation that has to deal with patrol, aviation fuel etc
Jobs will take longer time to finish as well as journey.
- Water supply
There is going to be shortage of water and water supply due to the shut down of water treatment plant.
These particular one will lead to a rapid increase in the spread of diseases and loss of life
- loss of information and data
For industries, there will be loss of informations and data, miss calculations etc
- Economic crisis and hike on price of food and other items
There is no doubt we are are going to experience hike on prices of items that are in the market, necessary items will be scares because of lack of production.
This is one thing about we humans, in every situation we tend to find a way to survive. Adaptation must take place, means of survival must made available , just that some people will adapt immediately and for other it will take longer time for them to adapt while others will not recover from the shock and scar it will live on their body and various businesses. Some might loss their lives in the process but the truth is that many will survive the shock.
considering how these present generation has been nurtured, it is definitely going to be a big blow on us but there must be a way.
For someone like me, I will take advantage of the current situation to earn a living.
Think about it these way👉
- since there will be no means of communication, I can help people convey messages to their loved ones through bikes and by so doing I can earn a living.
Every no knows that we have bikes that don't make use of fuels.
- Since there will be no or minimal way of transporting good s and services, I can also help people transport those goods and services through bikes too but it will not be perishable , considering how long it can take to convey the products
There are so many ways in which people will survive but we only need to adapt and accept the situation on ground.
In conclusion
No matter the circumstances on ground we will always survive, whether is a global Blackout, global erosion, global hunger humans will always find a way to survive and live a normal life.
Example was when we experience cashless in Nigeria, yes it did affect every one but as humans we quickly found a way to survive and live a normal life,
I could remember very well when a rich man came to me to help him with cash , he offered to transfer extra cash to me just to get hold of some cash and as at that time i had a reasonable amount of cash because I was selling stuffs for my parents ,I give the man the cash and he transferred the more than extra the money that I gave him and by so doing I earned extra income for my parents.
Like I said before we only have to accept the current situation and then Device a way to help ourselves live a normal life.
