It was such a bonus that I also get to explore a cave in Kandungaw. This was the cave whom the locals used to tell stories that the residents living during the Japanese invasion on WWII used as a hide out against the enemies.
It was a small enclosed cave with undisturbed stalagmites and stalactites. I spent a few minutes exploring the cave and ended up sliding down a slippery stalagmite. Got some bruises and a few scratches and could hardly walk staright the next day but it was worth it. ❤️
