The music video for “Masquerade” is rich and exciting as it takes viewers on a trip to the past.
Set at the Orpheum Theater in Downtown Los Angeles, the music video instantly transports viewers back in time to the past when movies were silent and only in black and white. The first character we are greeted with is Lindsey Stirling on stage, making a call on an early version of the telephone. As the scene cuts away, we are introduced to four characters that appeared to be awakened from their slumber by being summoned to the stage. That’s when their performance begins alongside Lindsey Stirling as color floods the screen and the sounds of the violin and electronic elements lead the way.
