The 3rd and last ODI Match of the Bangladesh tour of New Zealand, 2023 was played yesterday at McLean Park, Napier. In which Bangladesh beat New Zealand by 9 wickets. The series result New Zealand won the series by 2-1.
TOSS- Bangladesh won the toss and opted to bowl
New Zealand Innings- New Zealand batted first started the inning very poorly, the entire team was dismissed just for 98 runs in the fourth ball of the 32nd over. Bangladesh started the inning very strongly, Soumya Sarkar and Anamul Haque came to start the inning and gave a good start, Soumya Sarkar retired hurt due to injury, and next batsman Najmul Hossain Shanto came to bat and handled the inning with Anamul Haque, the first wicket has dismissed for 84 runs in last ball of the 13th over, Anamul Haque dismissed after playing a brilliant inning of 37 runs with the help of 7 boundaries in just 33 balls, followed by Litton Das came to bat and he remained unbeaten for 1 run in 2 balls with Najmul Hossain Shanto, and Najmul Hossain Shanto played a very brilliant unbeaten half-century and a victory inning of 51 runs with the help of 8 boundaries in just 42 balls. PLAYER OF THE MATCH- Bangladeshi bowler Tanzim Hasan Sakib was selected as the player of the match, he performed very brilliant bowling took 3 wickets just for 14 runs in 7 overs.
PLAYER OF THE SERIES- New Zealand's batsman Will Young was selected as player of the series, he performed very brilliant batting in the entire series, scored 105 runs in the 1st ODI match, 89 runs in the 2nd ODI match and 26 runs in final ODI match.
