Fund Raiser - Helping a friend with funding for a Wedding!
This post is part of the current Fund Raiser where a friend has given me an offer to buy a collection of Warhammer models, the money will go to putting down deposits for his wedding arrangements.
After that I have two other hobby debts to sort out.
I am collecting funds in the following ways:
- Blogging about Warhammer to earn HBD
- Accepting donations - Can be sent directly to @zakl.hobbyfund in HBD
- Selling some of the collection to friends.

Also this has become quite the Challenge! With so many units to review in the game the consensus in the hobby community is that I will not have enough time to review all of the Datasheets before the new edition of Warhammer 40,000 came out.
I should have started when 10th edition launched!

Aeldari, Warlock Skyrunner Conclave

Did you like the Warlock Skyrunner? Well this is a whole Squad of them!
This squad is used when you want a bodyguard for a Farseer on Jetbike that is a bit tougher than Windriders.
They are 90pts for 2 of them and 135pts for 3 of them. There is no box for them... so that $42 you spent on one? Well buy another 1-2 of them and the Farseer. Pricey!

Abilities

While this unit contains a Farseer, when an attack targets this unit, subtract 1 from the Wound roll.
Warlock Conclave
Models in this unit have a 4+ Feel No Pain against Psychic Attacks.
Thoughts
It is a bunch of Heavy Flamers flying around. They all have a fair bit of armor and Invul saves so they could keep the Farseer on bike alive longer. The Protect Ability makes them almost T5-7 equivalency. Which is great.
Their biggest enemy will be massed Heavy Bolter Fire, where a S5 v T4 will result in a 4+ to wound and a 3+ save becomes a 4+ which is the same as their invul. Firing anything better than -1 AP at them is a bit of a waste. Heavy Bolters then doing 2 wounds a piece wound knock 1 down for 2x unsaved wounds.
Alternately.... Autocannons might be even better with its Damage 3. But generally most armies have less of those laying around.
High strength and high damage weapons might be wasted here. Yes a Lascannon COULD fry one in a single shot... but only do so if there are no other viable targets. Putting wounds on an Avatar or Wraithlord would be better for you in the long run.
And again... combat. They have fair combat weapons. But they don't stand a chance against dedicated assault units that many factions possess.
At least they are also fast, which will count in their favour!
That makes 51 Aeldari Datasheets Reviewed putting them on 85% Completed. The total Completed is 25.87% Complete! Can I review them all?!
