WHO I AM
My name is Abdulrahman Zuleihat, but you can call me Zali. I am from Kogi State, Nigeria, though I grew up and spent most of my life in the Southwestern region, which has significantly influenced my experiences and outlook on life. Despite my time away, I remain deeply connected to my roots—after all, as the saying goes, "there's no place like home."
I have a younger sister named Abdulrahman Fathiat, and she has the most charming smile and a sharp mind. She’s my one and only sibling, and I feel so lucky to have her in my life.
Currently, I live in Ado-Ekiti, where I am studying at the College of Health Science and Technology. I am a medical laboratory technician in training. This journey has been both insightful and rewarding, allowing me to explore the complexities of the human body, understand how the immune system works, and learn how to take better care of myself and others. Through this, I’ve gained valuable health knowledge, and I’ve had the privilege to share and enlighten others, which is an experience I thoroughly enjoy and am passionate about.
FEW THINGS ABOUT ME
I have a few favorite things that bring joy to my everyday life. My favorite colors are white and blue, and I love both animations and action movies. My lucky number is 5. I value my privacy, but I am also fun to be with, and people know they can always confide in me. I love snacks, and I also have a soft spot for animals. I have a dog named Tom, who is very gentle and sweet. She is a big part of my life and always brightens my day.
HOW I FOUND HIVE
I have a special person in my life—one person among thousands who would do anything to see me happy. Though distance sometimes keeps us apart, this person is always there, a caring and loving presence. Curious about who this could be? It’s my one and only Aunty @fushee. Yes, you heard me right! Fushee is my amazing aunt, and she was the one who introduced me to HIVE. We are very close, and we share many things in common, especially our love for creativity. You may already know that Funshee is a talented and creative lady, as well as a mother who shares her beautiful beadwork and other creations with the world (a sign of her generosity!).
She saw my determination to be a writer and decided to help me by introducing me to Hive—not only to pursue my writing but also to make new friends. She knows that I sometimes feel lonely and assured me that this is the perfect place to connect with others. I couldn’t be more grateful for her, and I know many would wish for an aunt as supportive and understanding as mine.
MY HOBBIES
I love reading novels, which has sparked my deep interest in writing. Even if my stories don’t reach a global audience, I would still love to share them with others, have them read and discuss my work, and pass it on to family and friends. There's nothing more satisfying than seeing people smile because of something I’ve created. Writing is my way of expressing creativity, and I cherish the idea of connecting with others through storytelling. Singing is another passion of mine, something that brings me joy and balance in life.
MY PLAN IN HIVE
I aim to become a notable figure here. I want to meet new people, interact with them, build friendships, and be recognized as an amazing writer. My goal is to contribute creatively while also learning from others and growing as a person and a writer. That’s all for my introduction!
