What a cute shot. Feathery little guy gathering some insulation for the nest as the cooler weather sets in?

Much of the wildlife I see lately is gathering up in honking Vs and heading south. ;)

Thank you! I couldn't say for sure, as it spent too much time handling that feather, probably playing a game or who knows what :)
Lately I see many birds, as those in your photo, training, for the long winter migration, I suppose.
