Deseo compartir con la comunidad la experiencia del fin de semana pasado de mi hijo Jairo en la jornada de Capacitación de jóvenes del Club de Conquistadores y Guías Mayores de la Iglesia Adventista que se dió en una casa de playa los Uveros los días 8 y 9 del presente mes. Hace 20 días aproximadamente realizaron unas actividades deportivas que reseñe en la comunidad. En esta oportunidad es distinto, fueron 2 días recibiendo capacitaciones en Primeros auxilios, la especialidad de Bacterias, Reptiles e Historia Denominacional. También participaron en actividades de recreación y esparcimiento.
Los clubes de Conquistadores y Guías mayores son una institución que tiene presencia mundial y capacitan a los jóvenes para servir a otros y al mismo tiempo contribuye a su desarrollo fisico, mental y espiritual. Hacen excursiones, campamentos, capacitaciones y diversas actividades que contribuyen al desarrollo integral de los jóvenes. Recuerdo que cuando yo estaba más joven y era parte activa del club nos tocó participar en muchas actividades de servicio comunitario. El servicio que recuerdo más me impactó fue cuando el terremoto de Cariaco en el año 1997, donde nos permitieron ayudar organizando las ropas, las bolsas de alimentos, distribuyendolas entre las personas. Portabamos nuestros uniformes reglamentarios e hicimos el trabajo con mucho amor. Recuerdo que habia mucha tristeza en los rostros de la gente. Deseo que mi hijo Jairo se prepare también en el servicio a otros y crezca en este ministerio juvenil.
Esta vez el fue solo, siempre le acompaño, pero ya el tiene 16 años y aunque me caracterizo por ser una mamá gallina, esta vez no pude asistir. De todas formas allá estaba mi sobrina Mirella que es como mi hermana, es mayor que yo y estuvo todo el tiempo al pendiente de el. Yo conocia el itinerario de todo lo que se haria el fin de semana, me preocupaba la playa por las lluvias, pero gracias a Dios estuvo soleado y tampoco les permitieron bañarse en la playa por prevención, eso como madre lo agradezco mucho. Sin embargo, disfrutó de la piscina y el sábado en la noche de la fogata, los cantos juveniles alrrededor de la misma y la amistad de muchos jóvenes de su edad. Mi sobrina me dijo que siempre estaba rodeado de chicas y le preguntaban mucho a ella si era la mamá. Me lo imagino en la fogata hablando con una y otra chica 😁, en la piscina jugó mucho con sus amigos e hizo nuevos amigos.
El programa se llevó a cabo con toda normalidad, conozco y tengo amistad con los Directores del Club y ellos cuidan mucho a los chicos en cada actividad. Recibieron la clase de Primeros auxilios por el Mayor de Bomberos Cesar Osuna, una persona muy preparada y de gran sensibilidad humana.
La clase de Bacterias fue dictada por mi amiga y Bionalista Isaurea Quijada, muy querida por todos en la iglesia, servicial y de excelente preparación y experiencia en su área.
La clase de Reptiles fue dictada por el Biólogo Jesús Luiggi, la de Historia Denominacional por la Abogada Sulmira Quijada y la clase de Orientación por el Guía Mayor Joel David Quijada.
El slogan de la capacitación llevaba por título " Capacitados para servir". El mundo necesita de la sensibilidad humana, la empatía, el amor por el prójimo, hay mucho que hacer en favor de otros y ayudar a nuestros hijos a prepararse para el servicio es algo esperanzador. Ojalá más jóvenes se integren a estas actividades. Los muchachos aprendieron mucho y al mismo tiempo disfrutaron, hasta exámenes tuvieron, mi hijo Jairo llegó emocionado, contando y mostrándome todos los apuntes de su libreta. Además el lugar es muy bonito y estar en un ambiente así para los chicos es reconfortante.
Llegó aquí a casa el día lunes temprano porque convenimos se quedase el domingo en casa de la tia ya que la actividad termino tarde el domingo y hasta nuestra casa es más lejos. El lunes durmió bastante, estaba cansado, pero contento hablando por las redes contándole a sus amigos la experiencia.
Es mi opinión que es mejor proveer de estás actividades a nuestros hijos en lugar de que caigan en actividades que hacen perder el tiempo y la salud como discotecas, fiestas y otras cosas que en nada edifican y en donde se corre el riesgo de vicios y otras cosas. Como docente siempre oriento a los estudiantes para que vivan sanamente y sin arrepentimientos y que consigan su norte en la vida. Todo lo que desarrolle la educación, enseñe valores y todo lo que sea bueno es de bienestar para los jóvenes. Hay muchas instituciones que proveen de este tipo de actividades. Me gustó mucho la actividad, espero se sigan realizando y yo también ir 😁.

I want to share with the community the experience of last weekend of my son Jairo in the youth training day of the Pathfinder Club and Senior Guides of the Adventist Church that took place in a beach house in Los Uveros on the 8th and 9th of this month. This time is different, they spent 2 days receiving training in First Aid, Bacteria, Reptiles and Denominational History. They also participated in recreational and leisure activities.
The Pathfinder and Senior Guide Clubs are an institution that has a worldwide presence and trains young people to serve others and at the same time contributes to their physical, mental and spiritual development. They do excursions, camps, trainings and various activities that contribute to the integral development of young people. I remember when I was younger and active in the club we participated in many community service activities. The service that I remember most was during the earthquake in Cariaco in 1997, where we were allowed to help by organizing clothes, food bags, and distributing them among the people. I wish that my son Jairo will also prepare himself to serve others and grow in this youth ministry.
This time he went alone, I always go with him, but he is already 16 years old and although I am characterized by being a mother hen, this time I could not attend. However, my niece Mirella was there, she is like my sister, she is older than me and she was there all the time looking after him. I knew the itinerary of everything that would be done that weekend, I was worried about the beach because of the rains, but thank God it was sunny and they were not allowed to swim in the beach for prevention, as a mother I am very grateful for that. However, she enjoyed the pool and on Saturday night the bonfire, the youthful singing around the bonfire and the friendship of many young people her age. My niece told me he was always surrounded by girls and they asked her a lot if she was the mom. I can imagine him at the campfire talking to one girl and another 😁 at the pool he played a lot with his friends and made new friends.
The program went smoothly, I know and have friendship with the Club Directors and they take great care of the kids in every activity. They received the First Aid class by the Firefighter Major Cesar Osuna, a very prepared person with great human sensibility.
The Bacteria class was taught by my friend and Bionalist Isaurea Quijada, very dear to everyone in the church, helpful and excellent preparation and experience in her area.

Besides, the place is very nice and being in an environment like this is very comforting for the kids.
He arrived home early on Monday because we agreed that he would stay at his aunt's house on Sunday since the activity ended late on Sunday and even our house is farther away. On Monday he slept a lot, he was tired, but happy talking through the networks telling his friends about the experience.
It is my opinion that it is better to provide these activities to our children instead of letting them fall into activities that waste their time and health such as discos, parties and other things that are not edifying and where they run the risk of vices and other things. As a teacher I always guide students to live healthy and without regrets and to achieve their goal in life. Everything that develops education, teaches values and everything that is good is good for young people. There are many institutions that provide this type of activities. I really liked the activity, I hope they continue to be held and I also go 😁.
