Your death should be quick and seamless. This is every single human’s wish. If people had the opportunity to choose how they would pass away, I bet 99.9% of the total majority would have chosen to pass away in their sleep. The simplest and loveliest!
Who wouldn’t want to go this way? You didn’t think about that right? And now you can’t think of any better way than this.
If we could choose how we exit we would only choose based on two simple criteria;
How quick would it be? And
How seamless is it going to be?
In our sleep we are already half dead; we basically loose consciousness in our sleep; we loose tabs on what happens around us. Our brains shut down and that’s the most important part. It’s the brain that’s normally active to read senses and feelings of pain and what not. In the state of sleep all of that are turned of; no senses nor feelings.
This is the best time to take me take me now please!!
It is these 2 criteria that I’m going to use to choose how I would rather take my exit.
Let’s consider getting trampled by a herd of elephants.
How quick would this be?
Mind you that it can actually take up to 10 elephants before you can die. Think about it, one might come and step on your arm, another come and steps on your waist, then another one steps on a side of your face, another one comes your chest, then your leg, imagine the amount of pain and suffering you would be going through. At this point you would wish you were dead already but you might not be dead just yet. Some elephants might even pass you without getting to step on you but at that point you would wish they had cuz that might just be the one to save you from the continuous pain and end you.
Please I would not rather get trampled by a herd of elephants. Anything can happen.
How seamless is it?
As for how seamless is it let’s not even drag it. It’s not seamless at all.
Let’s consider falling out of a plane without a parachute.
When I first read this prompt, without thinking much about it I thought this would be the simplest way to pass but after I gave it some thought I realized I don’t want it.
Realize that there is a very high chance that you’ll reach the ground before passing. If you don’t pass immediately you hit the ground then you’re going to be in a very excruciating pain and you’re going to suffer in pain for quite a long time before you pass. At that point you might even drag yourself to find anything and end yourself.
I initially got excited* about this one because I was thinking I’ll just pass while in mid-air. That way I wouldn’t even feel the impact of hitting the ground.
Falling out of a plane could be seamless and quick only if you happen to pass while in mid-air. Else I can’t stand the pain and suffering upon hitting the ground.
Now let’s consider getting eaten by a shark
This particular one happens to be the one I think I can stand. Wait, hear me out before you gasp!
I feel this is the only one amongst the 3 options that I can actually hold my breath for.
When you think about getting trampled by elephants, so many instances comes to mind and the possibility of not dying with just one elephant’s step is also valid which will cause you more pain and suffering before you actually die.
Falling from a plane without a parachute too also has the possibility of hitting the ground and not dying instantly. Even though the movies make this looks like there’s no way you’ll impact the ground from a flying plane and not die instantly but I’m here to tell you that the human body & soul are actually quite very enduring.
Now look at this and reason with me, are you trying to tell me you can make it pass all thousands of these sharp pointed edges and still being alive ? Please!
Do you have any idea how strong the shark is? A single one bite of the shark and your skull is as flat as a piece of paper. By the time this monster bites to your chest you are already far gone. You can totally hold your breath for this.
How quick it’ll take to die in the mouth of a shark?
Need I say more?!! Milliseconds! Haha.
You can totally hold your breath for this. I tell you this is the best option. You want it to happen as quick as possible!
How seamless?
How seamless is a millisecond? Nothing at all. It’s compared to none!
As seamless as the smallest unit of time. Just as time passes like it’s nothing at all, it’s the same way how seamless you’ll die in the mouth of a shark.
You’ll almost feel no pain at all.
Now compare that to getting trampled by a herd of elephants or falling from a plane without a parachute!!!
With the above scenarios I’ve described, I hope you agree with me that getting eating by a shark is a better option to die than to get trampled by a herd of elephants or fall from a plane without a parachute.
Thank you 😊
