It's weekdays again, here comes our classes. A very stressful day to live as a college student. I woke up early to go to our school. My school is 2 hours away from our home so I really need to adjust my travel hours to be able to go in there as early as possible.
Good morning! I didn't expect to see this beautiful crescent moon in the morning, what a nice way to start my day. It is really beautiful in person, it looks like the moon is smiling at me to tell me that there is a beautiful day waiting at me. The color of the sky looks like art.
After class, my classmates and I find a place to eat, and we suddenly find one near our school and a decent one.
The name of the place is Red Porch. I didn't expect a place like this to be located near our school.
They offer many dishes, desserts, coffee, and other drinks on their menu. They have "silogs" or dishes that are partnered with egg. They have ice creams that is perfect for hot weather.
They have a second floor that has a very refreshing scenery, they use bamboos for their resto design. The weather is nice on that day, the sky is almost clear and the breeze is nice.
They have a duyan or a hearer in there, perfect for taking a nap after a draining set of classes.
They also have a lot of beautiful plants there.
This restaurant is perfect for couple dates, group studies, or just a regular lunch or dinner.
I think this place is more romantic at night because of the lights hanging on the ceiling, stairs, and trees.
I ordered my favorite Pork Sisig and this dessert called Halo-halo. Halo-halo is a Filipino dessert, "halo" means "mix", it consists of crushed ice, milk, sugar, Leche flan, and many ingredients of your choice. Some put sugar-coated bananas, pearls, beans, papaya, sweet potato, raisins, and many more! It is truly a refreshing dessert in this tropical county of ours.
I think it's been years since I ate this dessert, there are so many things that I wasn't able to do during the pandemic. It's time for me to catch up and experience the things I used to do.
We stay there for a while, just talking about nonsense topics, haha. We also talked about the incoming competitions of our section and also the incoming birthday celebration of our adviser.
I really love this place, not just because it looks nice, but because the foods that they offer are really delicious. That place is perfect, their resto design, the service, and their food will satisfy you.
After a while, we decided to leave and go to our final class schedule at night. I think we'll go back in there some other time, it is a really nice place, we enjoyed every second that we spend there.
