Saturday morning, like any other morning, is a great time to start the day right and to do this we just need to start by thanking our Lord for His mercy and love for us!
Glory and praise to Jesus Christ, the Father and the Holy Spirit!
Sometimes it is not easy to start writing a post that I have been thinking about for a long time but something was missing in the flow of thought do you know this feeling?
I do not even have a very good idea of how to title this post in English, because its meaning in English has many meanings for each specific case but if we talk about humans and all living things that surround them, about the internal and external content of their lives then, in principle, we can apply each word from this long list of definitions: essence, nature, spirit, heart, content, core, essential, substance, gist, entity.
But the most comprehensive definition that perfectly reflects the idea is the Name of our Lord, which He revealed to Moses which we can read about in the Book of the Old Testament Exodus 3:14 - I AM WHAT I AM.
The impetus, or the final chord for the formation of the idea of this post was that last night I decided to scroll through a video on YouTube and in the recommended videos I saw a film about people fighting poisonous snakes and rodents with the help of another type of animal it was about mongooses.
It was interesting to learn that in Japan they tried to fight poisonous snakes by introducing a population of mongooses to the islands which ultimately did not benefit, but only harm.
Apparently the initiators of this read with pleasure the story of Rudyard Kipling Rikki-Tikki-Tavi about how a brave mongoose defended a man's house from a poisonous cobra but did not pay any attention to verses 19 and 20 of the Book of Genesis, which says that God entrusted Adam to give names to every living creature.
Adam did not as they say just take these names out of thin air, he understood the essence of each animal and the name of each reflected this.
These names contained everything, their character their habitat their behavior their food preferences their lifestyle for example nocturnal or diurnal.
If you have children, you probably remember how difficult it was to name your child, we thought for a long time what name to give him or her, so that it would reflect the essence of the child and be for him what God would bless.
This was important to us.
I am who I am... you know, God knows everything about us He knows our essence to the last thought and atom but He loves and forgives us.
Do you think if your neighbors or co-workers knew everything about you would they forgive you love you or respect you?
Or would it end in your relationship?
Let's go back to the video I mentioned.
So, mongooses began to multiply in Japan there were a lot of them and although the mongoose loves to eat a tasty snake it did not help Japan cope with poisonous snakes that led a nocturnal lifestyle and mongooses lead an exclusively diurnal lifestyle.
As a result mongooses and snakes simply did not see each other when the snakes slept, the mongooses were awake and vice versa, when the mongooses fell asleep the snakes continued to bite people with their poisonous fangs.
But the mongooses happily devoured other rare species of small animals in Japan and poultry causing colossal damage but speaking of the fact that the mongoose-catching campaign lasted 25 years this is normal for people at first they do something and then they redo it.
Moreover a similar situation was repeated in Hawaii when they decided to get rid of rats that were destroying sugar cane shoots with the help of mongooses but there too the rats were active at night and the mongooses did not see the rats during the day.
This is one of many examples of the fact that numerous expeditions to discover new species of animals numerous academies of sciences, armies of zoologists biologists and ecologists are not able to do more than God and Adam did.
We can invent names of animals in Latin, or in some other fictitious language conduct scientific research but it is very difficult to do correctly more than what was done in the first days of the creation of the world by our Co-creator.
Sometimes it is difficult even for oneself to give a correct assessment an assessment of one's actions and behavior to say nothing of others.
Therefore it is very important to remember that prayer opens the doors for us to the one who is AM WHAT I AM and who has for us all the right answers to what we do not understand well enough for example, when we want to understand the essence of certain animals or people.
Many mistakes could have been avoided if we trusted in our Lord Jesus Christ in everything!
