Sometimes the absence of fear is similar to trust and sometimes trust is very similar to the absence of fear and it is easy to get confused because if you figure it out they are not the same thing.
In my drawing which I want to present to you today I wanted to depict such an absence of fear very similar in some cases to trust but trust cannot be there a priori.
People who are engaged in beekeeping know this well and namely I depicted a beekeeper in my drawing and this beekeeper is comfortably located next to a beehive and watches as a bee crawls on his index finger like a tame pet.
Beekeepers always know that bees never trust anyone, even their relatives and sometimes even queen bees what can we say about people.
But sometimes bees are too busy to notice people and the bees' good mood has nothing to do with it although it seems to be good for them during the honey flow and bad when there are no flowering plants around.
I have depicted the ideal moment for a person when a bee can allow him a little more than usual.
This drawing was not easy for me especially back in January 2023 when I finished working on it and my work was like the work of a scout bee looking for flowering fields.
Despite the apparent simplicity of the drawing there are quite a lot of elements that are difficult for me for example, the straw that the hat is made of or the position of the beekeeper's hands when he lies on his stomach in this pose.
But beekeepers do not become beekeepers right away I had to lose some fears in order to move on in this work.
