Freedom, independence, honor and dignity, faith and sovereignty as the time in which we live shows us often or as a rule these are just loud words that are actually worth nothing there is a ringing sound but there is no gold in these words when they are addressed to us.
As a rule when we have a hint of all of the above, when we at some point achieve this or approach this those who want to deprive us of all of this immediately appear.
These thoughts became the basis for my work with a pencil with a graphite rod on a white sheet of paper.
I depicted a small snail that found its happiness and sovereignty independence and the light of its dream to find happiness on top of a fragrant and tasty mushroom which will become its home its food and complete independence from everything that happens around but ... a mushroom picker appeared on the horizon.
The mushroom picker looks at the mushroom and the snail's sovereignty differently and with one snap of his fingers he will throw the snail off the mushroom and leave only a mushroom stump or a hole in the ground where the mushroom grew.
I started and finished the work during one of the blackouts on April 19, 2024 this is the time when I could not do anything in HIVE but I could draw.
I did not strive for complete realism of the snail in part the drawing should be a little funny.
Then a mushroom appeared in the drawing but this is only one stage of the work.
Working on the texture of the snail and its house is a bit routine but sometimes you need to do it.
Otherwise you will not be able to see the result of this routine work.
As for the mushroom it turned out to be quite realistic.
The epoch of the work was the image of the mushroom picker who was approaching the mushroom from the horizon.
I decided not to overload the drawing with the surrounding landscape leaving only the main characters that were part of my thoughts.
