Greetings Dear Readers;

.
Hope you are well.

It is mid-summer for some and for others mid-winter and yet at anytime of year we can appreciate the seaside.....its breezes, sounds and scents. If you are unable to visit one near you...I hope you will enjoy the photographs above.

Let's look at the Principle, 'Live and Learn' or is the better way to 'Learn and Live'. Most of us have probably heard the Principle of 'Live and Learn' after we have made an error of some kind, some have called it 'the school of hard knocks'.

However,..let us get ahead of that one by turning it around to 'Learn and Live'...how about we learn, gain knowledge, become familiar with, master a subject and then live it.

A good example of a subject where one must thoroughly know the subject before living it would be in the field of electronics...there would not be too many times one could follow the idea of 'Live and Learn' before something serious could occur.

'Learn and Live'....let's give it a think.

Thank you for visiting 'Principle of the Day'. ^__^

.
Kind Regards,

Bleujay

Principles are timeless truths as relevant today as they were yesterday and will be tomorrow.

I think I prefer live and learn because, without living I feel that mankind learns nothing.

Well...that's a thought....interesting!

Thank you for stopping by. ^__^

Kind Regards, Bleujay

It's nice to turn that saying round into your principle. Much more pleasing!

Greetings @meesterboom ,

You are too kind as always ...happy to hear you found it pleasing. ^__^

Wouldn't it be remarkable if one could have learned it in childhood....or at least thought about it...

Kind Regards to you and your good lady,

Bleujay

The photos really are convincing to visit the beach soon.😊
Thank you.😊

True.. while living, let's learn too to have an essence in living. 😊

Yes...learning first....does give opportunity to live the subject's essence/full intent/in a broader sense.

Happy to hear you enjoyed the photographs of the beach. ^__^

Thank you for your kind reblog.

Kind Regards, Bleujay

Indeed.😊 I'll gonna share my photos of the beach soon too.😊
You're always welcome.😊

nice photos friend, greetings from Argentina🖖

Greetings @tecnotronics ,

Thank you for dropping by with your kind compliment.

Your occupation came to mind as an excellent example to illustrate the principle.

Un buen ejemplo de un tema en el que uno debe conocer a fondo el tema antes de vivirlo sería en el campo de la electrónica... no habría muchas veces en las que se podría seguir la idea de 'Vivir y Aprender' antes de que ocurra algo grave.

Kind Regards, Bleujay

Learning while living will compliment for us to have a harmonious life.
What a beautiful place to enjoy and relax our mind for a while.

Greetings @selflessgem ,

Thank you for dropping by. ^__^

Happy to hear you enjoyed the post.

Kind Regards, Bleujay

Thank you too.
It's good to read your post to reflect once action. 😊

It's all a matter of attitude, I'll give you an example, 2 people are going to travel, when they return one says I'm happy, nice trip, the other the opposite and it's the same trip.
I wish you a happy start to the week

Interesting to evaluate some of our predispositions and look at it from a different angle!

In this case, I think living is the main objective and learning is one of the results. We can definitely better those results by considering what we learn consciously. I would rather experience a mistake while striving than avoid striving to make sure I had learned enough to increase the chances of success but that is just me.

I see so many people (even myself when I look closely enough) weighing risk too heavily and in analysis paralysis which hinders action and progress. Obviously there are exceptions when the risks are higher (like in your electrician example!) but it would come down to balance if we are doing it optimally.

Love these! Kinda in the spirit of my Zeke Thoughs posts!

Greetings @zekepickleman ,

Thank you for dropping by and giving the Principle a hearing.

Yes...we really do both in life... ^__^

In my studies...sometimes I find them a bit of a slog and yet when exam time/practical application comes..I am grateful for the time well spent...thus the thought of the reverse...learn and live...bringing meaning/definition to the experience that I may not have had otherwise.

I would venture to say in your case...you enjoy your beer much more than the average lad as you have a far greater knowledge base of the subject. For Bleujay...simply learning about Growlers...brought smiles (living).

As you say we can analyse ourselves right out of anything...so we have to make the call....live and learn or learn and live... ^__^

Kind Regards, Bleujay

Had a look at your 'Thoughts'..interesting...Yes...Bleujay is for what assists in giving persons a moment of pause to have a think about something that perhaps they have not given any thought to before....which is what you have there...Lovely!
