Hello! How are you? It is not a good month for me I got sick two times this month, which means no blog for me until I feel like a human being again LOL. Health is wealth they say.

By the way, I saw a video on the internet that cooked honey garlic chicken, At that time I was guessing what type of recipe I was going to cook with the chicken inside our refrigerator and saw that it was a to follow the recipe and I had all the ingredients needed to cook it so yeah I did it. It is called honey garlic chicken I never tasted this recipe before the one thing I tasted was the orange chicken which I think I liked this honey garlic since I tasted it.

I prepare the chicken wing I am going to make sure it is clean, and poke the meat with a fork to make the marination absorb the flavor of the seasoning for later.

Next, I add ginger to the meat to add flavor.

Next, I pour two tablespoons of light soy sauce on the meat.

For the next condiment, I used two tablespoons of oyster sauce.

10.jpg

11.jpg

Next is half a teaspoon of ground pepper and a pinch of salt.

12.jpg

13.jpg

I mix it until all the condiments are well combined. I let it marinate for ten minutes.

14.jpg

15.jpg

Now that the meat is marinated, it is ready to be fried. So, I prepared all-purpose flour for the breading. It is better to use cornstarch, but we ran out, so flour is good, too.

16.jpg

17.jpg

I grab a wing and coat it with the breading mixture.

18.jpg

19.jpg

I add half a cup of cooking oil to cook the meats in a hot pan.

20.jpg

21.jpg

When the pan is heated enough I put the meats in.

22.jpg

23.jpg

Fried it on low heat until golden brown.

24.jpg

25.jpg

Set aside the meat.

26.jpg

27.jpg

I prepare two tablespoons of butter and let it melt a bit.

28.jpg

29.jpg

Then I added the minced garlic into the butter and let it until the aroma of the garlic was out.

31.jpg

32.jpg

Then I added one teaspoon of light soy sauce to add more color and flavor to the sauce.

33.jpg

34.jpg

I added 4 tablespoons of honey and a pinch of chili flakes to a little spiciness to the sauce. I let the sauce boil and it is done.

36.jpg

37.jpg

Now that the sauce is all cooked up, I toss in the fried chicken and give it a good mix until everything is nicely combined!

Happy Eating! The taste of it is like a combination of savory, sweet and a hint of spiciness is a combo for me and I like the taste of garlic every bite I take, so If you like the taste I explain I think you should try it once in a while!
