Thoughtful Daily Post Curation Compilation #4

in #hive-1092885 months ago

By conveying our deeper thoughts on Hive, we can uplift and support each other across the blockchain. This week we had some wonderful authors visit to share their life reflections, wisdom, and snapshots of their experience on this rock with us.

No matter if they have responded to our weekly prompt, or posted on their own topics, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate thoughtfulness on chain! We hope you will consider taking the time to check their writing out and support their work! You may even make a new friend. ✌️

Older Brother passing. by @jerrytsuseer

My Brother Jim Tippins, 3/24/1936 was found deceased this morning. He has lived with the family of Kitzi Sprinkle for years. They called him PaPa (sounded like PawPaw to me) and the loved and cared for him dearly. Kitzi is clearly distraught by having found him that way, and they are JUST NOW getting his body out of the small house where he lived on their property. ↑This was in 2016 at his 80th birthday↑ At present

My boyfriend is a manipulator./Мій хлопець маніпулятор. by @justonehope

Hi everyone, it's only been a few days since our first and I hope to be our last fight with my boyfriend. I am writing because after considering his behavior towards me, I discovered that he successfully manipulates people. I am not ready to change him and I am not a psychologist to somehow change an adult man. Especially since he believes that only he is right. We will have to part ways because he is putting too much pressure on my free mind and I have found that I am better off without him than with him

Persistence through the storm by @zakludick

They say "Calm seas make for poor sailors". or conversely "Rough seas make for good sailors". I am not sure who's saying it is. It is encouraging but it is not something you want to hear while you are busy drowning, never mind on a ship in a storm. It does however pose to give us comfort after a season of hardship or loss that we have experienced and gives us some personal meaning to having survived through it all

An allegory that transmuted existence || Thoughtful Thursday Prompt #3 [ENG-ESP] by @marilour

An allegory that transmuted existence My encounters with philosophy were dormant and numb, until the beginning of my third cycle of university studies. It is peremptory in this dissertation a proem of the circumstances, which fermented my collision with philosophy (if the beginnings were winding, serpentine, and even stormy). Those were the times of university teaching at the medical school, my first steps with undergraduate students. Emotions fluttered everywhere, new contexts to socialize in, and fresh paths to incorporate into the journey, but at the same time, filled with expectations and fears. The discipline to be taught, Medical Parasitology, with a program that, upon reading it, translated the stiff, disintegrated, and fragmented construction in its genesis

Mi Diario: 23 junio 2024 // My Diary: June 23 2024 by @palomap3

Hola, querido hiver. He estado a punto de no escribir este diario, pero sé que me viene bien para mantener la mente ocupada con algo productivo. Tos. Congestión nasal. Dolor de cabeza

Still and silent by @becca-mac

I was walking at the lake this morning, it was early. Tendrils of mist still lingered over the water, dew clung to the leaves and the fresh air seemed laden with moisture left over from overnight rain. There were a few cars in the carpark but I saw no one else and heard nothing but the sounds of nature which, to me, is like music. My guy took this image I left my headphones at home wanting to wander undisturbed by anything but natural sounds and as I walked I rejoiced in the moment and the silence that seemed to envelope me insulating me to the passage of time and anything but my own thoughts of being deeply within the moment. My mind found stillness and a silence that I only find when with nature

As Plain and Beautiful as Day by @jhymi

I’ve been going through a bout of emotional cleansing so writing this is what I would call my final step towards catharsis. I did my laundry, tidied up and scrubbed my dorm room, took a long shower. Or at least as much time as I could take in the dorm’s bathroom, ordered for food which will more or less be my first proper meal of the day and now I’m here with my phone and typing away. I saw this week’s from the memoirmonday initiative by @ericvancewalton and it pulled me in like nothing else for some reason. This would be my first time answering a question from this initiative and I guess my participation was long overdue as I’ve found each and every topic reflective and impactful

Miracles are everywhere, memoir Monday #15. by @ijebest

Waoh, what an amazing and attractive topic to write about in this week's Memoir Monday 15. Do You Believe In Miracles? . Thank you so much @ericvancewalton for this topic. There are uncountable evidences and events all around this beautiful universe potraying that every thing existing, seen and unseen, known and unknown came to be by the power of and on the account of miracles by the unseen being

Good Day - Bonjour - Guten Tag by @mondoshawan

I consider myself a "good" person at heart, although i'm also aware that I'm certainly one of those your momalways told you: "I forbid you to play with that guy, I don't want to see you with him, ever"! My truth seeking addiction has always made me, more than less, "persona non grata",already at the age of six. Hehehe! On that note: Never forget that there is no rule without an exception. And PRETTY PLEASE, never listen to anything I say

Different Mindsets by @minhajulmredol

It is recommended always to have a productive friend circle because you grow by the company you keep. If friends are always hungry to do something good then it will influence you too, if they are prone to destruction then you are sure to go down as well no matter how much preparation you take. Fortunately or I may say, unfortunately, I have a mixture of friends, some doing good, some excellent, and some lagging behind miserably. Everyone won't be good in the group, will they? Thats normal
