Hello everyone. I'm here with my favorite travel articles to share. Today, I would like to tell you about our trip to Konya at the beginning of last summer and show you the Mevlana tomb. Although I have passed through Konya many times before, I have never had the opportunity to visit it. However, when we went to visit our family (my husband's family) at the beginning of summer this year, I insisted on coming to the city we live in via Konya. Because I wanted to spend some time in Konya and see some of its places. When I forwarded this issue to @bilginselcuk, he said we could do it if there was time. Therefore, I can say that we set off quite on time. Even though the road was long, straight, dry and extremely boring after setting off towards Konya, I cannot help but say this: When I arrived at the center of Konya, I encountered a more modern city than I expected. . 🏙️🌁 One of the arid steppes of Central Anatolia. It was nice to see the city center afterwards. We first filled our stomachs and left exploring the surroundings until later.🍝🌮 Of course, we ate meat bread in Konya. Although this delicious dish is very similar to pita, I think pita is better and more satisfying. 🥙

Bugün geçtiğimiz yaz mevsiminin başı gibi yaptığımız Konya gezisinden bahsetmek ve Mevlana türbesini sizlere göstermek istiyorum. Daha önce Konya'nın etrafından çok kez geçmiş olsam da içinde hiç gezememiştim. Ancak bu sene yazın başında ailemizi ziyaret için gittiğimizde dönüşte Konya üzerinden yaşadığımız şehre gelmek için ısrar ettim. Çünkü az da olsa Konya'da vakit geçirip bazı yerlerini görmek istiyordum. @bilginselcuk'a bu konuyu açtığımda vakit uygun olursa yapabileceğimizi söylemişti. Bunun için yola çıkma konusunda oldukça dakik davrandığımı söyleyebilirim.🥰Konya'ya doğru yola çıktıktan sonra yol sanki bitmeyecek gibi uzun, düz, kuru ve sıkıcı olsada Konya merkezine gelince beklediğimden daha modern bir şehir bulduğumuda söylemeden geçemeyeceğim.🏙️🌁 İç Anadolu'nun kuru bozkırlarından sonra şehir merkezi görmek iyi gelmişti. İlk önce karnımızı doyurup etrafı keşfetme işini sonraya bıraktık.🍝🌮 Konya'ya gelmişken elbette ki etli ekmek yedik. Bu leziz yemek pideye çok benzesede ben pidenin daha güzel olduğunu düşünüyorum, ayrıca daha da doyurucu.🫓🥙

The reason I remember this day is that my wife and I discussed whether the Mevlana tomb was open on Mondays.📅 We thought that if it was a museum, it might be closed on Mondays, but it was open because it was open too. a center of worship. There were many different buildings, first we toured the area lined with small rooms in the courtyard. These small rooms were the rooms where the dervishes stayed.🛋️ Each of them focused on a different subject. Whatever he wanted to say, there were objects, objects and information belonging to experts in that field. I don't remember the details because it's been a long time. 🤔 The use of items in the museum was always related to each other. For example, the Holy Quran and other religious books found here were written with the pens found here. Most elements remain original. Every object, word, symbol had a deep and mystical meaning.💠
Günlerden pazartesi günüydü bu günü hatırlamamın sebebi Mevlana türbesinin pazartesi günleri açık olup olmadığını eşimle tartışmıştık.📅 Bir müze kapsamında ele alındıysa pazartesi günleri kapalı olabilir diye düşündük ancak burası aynı zamanda bir ibadet merkezi olduğu için Mevlana Müzesi pazartesi günü de ziyarete açıktı. Çok farklı yapılar vardı, önce avludaki yan yana minik odalar halinde dizilmiş alanı gezdik. Bu küçük odalar dervişlerin kaldıkları odalarmış.🛋️ Her birinde farklı bir konu üzerinde yoğunlaşılmış. Neyi anlatmak istiyorsa onunla ilgili objeler eşyalar ve o konuda da ustalaşmış kişilerle ilgili bilgiler vardı. Üzerinden biraz zaman geçtiği için detaylarını pek hatırlayamıyorum. 🤔 Müzede bulunan eşyaların kullanımı hep birbiriyle alakalıydı. Örneğin burada bulunan kuranlar ve diğer dini kitaplar yine burada bulunan kalemlerle yazılmış. Çoğu eşya da orijinalliğini korumaktaydı. Her bir eşyanın sözün simgenin derin ve mutasavvifi bir manası vardı.💠
Since it was quite crowded during our visit, we wanted to visit Mevlana Tomb before it got crowded. From the moment we enter, we are filled with a spiritual peace and tranquility that affects people from within. Although the inside of the tomb was as crowded as the outside, it had a very calm and quiet atmosphere. We were very impressed when we saw the cist graves covered with local and ethnically designed covers appropriate to the period in which Mevlana lived. At the same time, I was quite surprised by the size of these graves. There seemed to be a mystical atmosphere in the environment, with the effect of the harmonious reed sound coming from the background. We felt the peace of Ney in our bones.🎼
Bizim ziyaretimiz sırasında oldukça kalabalık olduğu için daha fazla yoğunluk olmadan öncelikle Mevlana Türbesini gezmek istedik. İçeri girdiğimiz andan itibaren insanı içten içe etkileyen manevi bir huzur ve sakinlik kaplıyor. Türbenin içi de dışarısı kadar kalabalık olmasına rağmen epey sakin ve sessiz bir atmosfere sahipti. Mevlana'nın yaşadığı döneme uygun yöresel ve etnik şekilde dizayn edilmiş örtülerle kaplı sanduka mezarları görünce epey etkilenmiştik. Aynı zamanda bu mezarların büyüklükleri beni epey şaşırtmıştı. Arka fondan gelen ahenkli ney sesininde etkisiyle ortamda sanki mistik bir hava var gibiydi. Ney sesinin verdiği huzuru iliklerimize kadar hissetmiştik.🎼
When we visited, it was mid-spring and the weather was cool, but the inside of the tomb was quite flat and hot due to the crowd. We researched the area thoroughly, but we cannot say that we got much results due to the crowd. There were exhibitions of objects featuring religious figures in the museum. The colorful decorations on the walls and ceiling looked quite flashy.
Bizim ziyaret ettiğimiz zamanlar bahar aylarının ortaları olduğu için hava serindi ancak türbenin içi kalabalıklıktan dolayı epey basık ve sıcaktı. Etrafı iyice inceleyerek gezdik ancak kalabalıklıktan dolayı çok verim aldığımız söylenemez. Müzenin içinde dini figürlü eşyaların sergileri yapılmıştı. Duvarlardaki ve tavandaki renkli süslemeler çok gösterişli gözüküyordu.
We went out to visit the other shrines in the courtyard. I don't want to bore you by telling all of them one by one, but there are information boards about many places, my friends who are curious can read them. :) After visiting the other shrines one by one, we left the Mevlana Museum. Avludaki diğer türbeleride gezmek için dışarı çıktık.
