Hello Hivians. It's the end of the week and today we're entering summer, the season of the year that I like the least. The truth is that I have a hard time with the heat so I'm going to look for a vacation somewhere cool. But that's not what I wanted to write about but about advertising on Hive.
I've been participating in Hive regularly for some time now and I've always wondered why there's no advertising in the communities. I know that Hive is much more than a social network but it's also a social network and all the social networks that I know use advertising to finance themselves.

In Hive however only one community does what seems logical to reward the authors with a token and generate resources with advertising to sustain it. This is the case of LEO which is one of the most active communities. I don't know of any others that do it but there may be.
And hence my question why advertising is not used in Hive to finance the ecosystem.
