Over the past couple of months, we’ve been posting Fitness Friday challenges via our dedicated account @fc-fitness. We’re now ready to increase the rewards that this account gives out, partly in order to increase engagement – and also because we can afford to do so!
Increased Rewards for Friday Fitness Challenges
From now on, we’re going to give out rewards to the winner of the challenge based on relevance to the challenge. To clarify:
If there are Fitness Friday posts that discuss fitness, but do not meet the posted challenge, then the winner that week will receive 1 HSBI.
If there are Fitness Friday posts that discuss fitness and meet the proposed challenge, then the winner that week will receive 2 HSBI.
As usual, if there are no Fitness Friday posts written, then there will be no winner and no HSBI given out. We do intend to continue increasing our HSBI rewards over time, and we’ll send out notifications like this one every time we do so. By the way, the next challenge is going to be posted shortly after this announcement, so keep an eye out!
Tags for Fitness Friday Challenges
If you’d like to be tagged whenever we post these challenges, let me know and I’ll include a tag list at the end of the post! Tagging might help people keep on track with increasing their fitness goals.
Some Precautions & Safety Warnings
I’m going to have these written in every Fitness Friday Challenge post, but I’d like to reiterate them here as well, because this is very important:
When doing any exercise, pay attention to form first and foremost. Proper form is important for the purposes of safety and so that you can get the most out of the exercise. Improper form can lead to injuries and also decreases the efficacy of the exercise.
It is normal to feel muscle fatigue, and when approaching the end of a set, a bit of “burning” as you’re completing the movement. That burning sensation often comes from lactic acid buildup, and you’ll recognize it as you continue doing repetitions – it tends to go away pretty quickly once you finish the exercise.
If you feel sharp pain at any point, then immediately cease the challenge and go see a doctor as soon as you can. Do not push through sharp pain, or you risk worsening a potential injury.
What do you think of these challenges and rewards? Are there any changes you’d suggest?
I would love to hear any and all opinions about these topics from everyone who is currently a member of FreeCompliments, since you’re all inaugural members! Anyone else who finds this page is also very welcome to voice their opinion. We’re all about free speech, and everyone’s experience has value.
More posts with further ideas incoming soon!
