Apart from the importance of Power Up Day, it is one of those perfect Mondays that we always postpone to start something. It's perfect for yoga or cardio at home, recipes, mini walks, and so many other things that you've been thinking about but always postponing to the 1st of the month and Monday. Just a friendly little reminder.
Today I want to share with you a game that I played for the first time last Friday, Cult of The Lamb.
A little lamb is executed after falling into the hands of a cult and this is how the story begins. "The One Who Waits" resurrects the executed lamb for its own purposes. It's a great story. I love it. It's cute and evil. I think Hello Kitty should pretend to be Sauron to make a better duo.
After the lamb comes back to life, he has a mission. A mission given to him by the one who waits who brought him back to life. To gather as many believers as possible, to make him stronger, and then, I guess, to get his revenge.
Actually, the structure of the game is very simple. Kill enemies, rescue "innocents" and lure them to your side, feed them and make them do your work. It's the other elements that make the game great for me. Would I like it as much if it was something else instead of a lamb? I don't think so.
While he is not destroying the enemies, our lamb prepares food during the day and does the things he needs at night. Even if he doesn't sleep, his followers must. It is necessary to keep them faithful, because at any moment they could revolt and leave. This is something we don't want.
Since Turkish is my mother tongue, it seems to me that what the followers mumble while praying or when I give them a task is as if they are swearing because they keep repeating "mınaamına" 😂 This is similar to a swear word in Turkish. I guess I can say this in the simplest way.
You can easily hear this in 8.45 seconds of the video above. Apart from these, there are things that need to be done to keep the followers happy. Beds, food, prayer areas, etc. You can go back to fighting before these are finished, but some of the followers start to doubt you because they have less faith, which we will see in the next post.
Anyway.
Leshy, he's scary. So is his voice. And the big cult leader's goal is to stop me. He's trying to put all kinds of obstacles in my way. Actually, the game's been pretty easy so far. It's great for a start. In my opinion, the fact that the game is difficult in the early times of the game makes it quite difficult to like that game.
The first difficulty, or rather defeating the last monster of the first map I was given, was not that hard. It even finished in about 10 seconds. It was quite comfortable. Also, what came out after defeating that monster was a follower that I could attract to my side, which I needed. There's a lot of work to be done in the compound.
After sending this follower to the compound, I took my rewards and returned to the village. More precisely, the game returned me to the village so that I can do what needs to be done. These things to be done will be the content of the next post.
I actually thought I added this game to my library because it was free for a while, but according to Nabi, this game was never free. As someone who hasn't bought many games until now, the only thing I can think of is that it was a game I bought before Steam changed the exchange rate. I couldn't think of anything else.
I think I'll be playing this game for a while. It's especially fun to play with the controller. The vibrations make everything better.

Daha önceden düşünüp de sürekli ayın 1'ine ve pazartesiye ertelediğiniz o evde yoga veya kardiyo, yemek tarifleri, minik yürüyüşler ve bunlar gibi bir sürü şey için mükemmel. Bugün ben sizinle geçtiğimiz cuma günü de olsa ilk kez oynadığım bir oyunu paylaşmak istiyorum. Cult of The Lamb.
Minik bir kuzu bir tarikatın eline düştükten sonra idam ediliyor ve hikâye de böyle başlıyor. "The One Who Waits" yani bekleyen kişi idam edilmiş olan kuzuyu kendi emelleri için yeniden canlandırıyor. Harika bir hikâye. Bayıldım. Hem şirin hem de kötü. Daha iyi bir ikili olması için Hello Kitty'nin Sauron gibi davranması gerekir diye düşünüyorum.
Kuzu tekrar hayata döndükten sonra ise bir görevi var. Onu hayata geri döndüren bekleyen kişinin ona verdiği bir görev. Olabildiğince çok inanan toplayıp onu güçlendirmek ve sanırım sonrasında da intikamını almak.
Aslında oyunun yapısı çok basit. Düşmanları öldür, "masumları" kurtar ve onları kendi tarafına çek, besle ve iş yaptır. Oyunu bence güzel yapan şey diğer elementler. Bir kuzu yerine başka bir şey olsaydı bu kadar sever miydim? Sanmıyorum.
Düşmanları yok etmediği süre içerisinde de kuzumuz gündüz ise yemek hazırlıyor, gece ise ihtiyacı olan şeyleri kendisi yapıyor. Kendisi uyumasa da takipçileri uyumalı. Onları sürekli inançlı tutmak gerekiyor çünkü her an bir ayaklanma çıkarıp terk edebilirler. Bu da istemeyeceğimiz bir şey.
Türkçe ana dilim olduğumdan olsa gerek takipçiler dua ederken veya ben onlara görev verirken mırıldandıkları şey bana onlar sanki küfrediyormuş gibi geliyor çünkü sürekli "mınaamına" diye tekrar ediyor 😂
Yukarıdaki videonun 8.45 saniyesinden itibaren bunu rahatlıkla duyabilirsiniz. Bunların dışında takipçileri mutlu edebilmek için yapılması gerekenler var. Yataklar, yemekler, dua alanları gibi. Leshy, çok korkunç. Sesi de öyle. Kocaman tarikat liderinin amacı ise beni durdurmak. Önüme her türlü engeli koymaya çalışıyor. Aslında şimdiye kadar oyun oldukça kolaydı. Başlangıç için harika. Oyunun ilk zamanlarında zor olması o oyunu oldukça beğenmesi zor kılıyor benim fikrimce.
İlk zorluk, daha doğrusu bana verilen ilk haritanın son canavarını yenmek o kadar da zor olmadı. Hatta 10 saniye gibi bir sürede bitti. Oldukça rahattı. Ayrıca o canavarı yendikten sonra ortaya çıkan şey kendi tarafıma çekebileceğim bir takipçiydi ki buna ihtiyacım vardı. Yerleşkede yapılması gereken çok fazla iş var.

Bu oyundan oldukça zevk aldım. Bu oyunu aslında bir ara bedava olduğu için kütüphaneme eklediğimi sanıyordum fakat Nabi'nin söylediğine göre bu oyun hiç bedava olmamış. Şu zamana kadar çok fazla oyun satın almamış biri olarak aklıma gelen tek şey Steam kur değiştirmeden önce aldığım bir oyun olduğu. Aklıma başka bir şey gelmedi.
Bu oyuna bir süre devam edeceğimi düşünüyorum. Özellikle de oyun kumandası ile oynamak oldukça eğlenceli. Titreşimleri her şeyi daha iyi yapıyor.
