February 15th, 2025Ā Ā Ā This week had our first rain in several months, and this led to a day and half long power outage. This caused me to miss a curation post and also Srey-Yuu didn't have enough time for her weekly Top 3 curation post, but now we're doing our best to get back on schedule. I noticed that @tegoshei upped her delegation to 250 HP and climbed several spaces within the SILVERs.
Ā Ā Ā @thelivingworld came onboard with a new 50 HP delegation, and this earned her BRONZE membership and the perks that come along with it. In the world of delegations that pretty much sums up the last 7 days, and it's nice to see we're continuing the slow upward growth trend.
Ā Ā Ā This community is what it is today because of its members, you folks. I can't thank you enough for your patience lately and also the dedication to keep ASEAN Hive alive and thriving. Things will be hectic for the next few weeks because we are still in the middle of US visa meetings and appointments, but hopefully by March I will begin reclaiming my normal life.

How The VIP Delegator Raffle Works
Ā Ā Ā Every raffle I tally the total HP delegated to the @asean.hive curation account, and one raffle ticket is allocated for each HP delegated by you ASEAN Hivers (excluding [me] @justinparke, @srey-yuu, @sakana & @sreypov), with a minimum delegation of 50 HP to be eligible for the ASEAN Hive VIP š„ BRONZE Raffle.
Ā Ā Ā There are five separate raffles, one for each VIP tier, and each tier's prize is a post beneficiary status equivalent to the tier's total percentage of raffle tickets allocated. This means the percentages of each tier's share of the prize is fluid, and I think it makes the raffle more fun and fairer.
Ā Ā Ā This week's total effective HP is 190,943, and total delegated HP is 175,1377 HP (136,298 HP minus ASEAN team member delegations & delegations under 50 HP), so I plugged the numbers into my Raffle Picker iOS app, selected "pick winners," and the results were instantly and randomly calculated.
