This week's featured ASEAN Hiver lives on the fringes of Southeast Asia in Bangladesh. ASEAN Hive is flexible, and I've always welcomed southern mainland Chinese content, eastern Indian states, Hong Kong, and more. We are lucky to have this lady in our community because she's a talented writer, a good photographer, engaged with her community members, and a generous delegator as well.
If you don't know @semarekha yet and you're an ASEAN Hiver, you're missing out because she is a huge part of ASEAN Hive. As some of you may know, things are chaotic in her country at the moment, but overall things seem to be moving towards a more positive direction. I am glad to see she has managed to stay safe during all the riots and political turmoil.
In her blog you'll find content about daily life in Dhaka and navigating it's intense traffic, delicious recipes, daytrips, and the various parks and destinations near her residence. I have visited West Bengal in India, and since then I have always to see the other side over in Bangladesh, but until then I'll have to live vicariously through this woman's blog.
As a fan of South Asian food, I very much enjoy her recipe posts because I cook and eat mostly Indian food, but I enjoy learning Nepalese, Bangladeshi, and Sri Lankan dishes. We all benefit from having members like this lady in our community, and she brings value to ASEAN Hive in so many ways, so let's all show some gratitude and congratulate @semarekha this week.
