Our monthly shared interest earnings have nearly reached $50 HBD and our total HBD Savings are nearly $3,000 HBD, a nice milestone to reach. I previously mentioned wanting to do some kind of investment when we hit 3K, and it will likely be a bungalow of some sort. For now it's the rainy season here and full of mud and landslides, so until about September this will not be possible and we'll just keep the savings dividends going until such time.
I do have some young and energetic volunteers from Sweden coming in early October, so I am excited for the opportunity to have some help from folks without the Cambodian work ethic. If one/both of the volunteers are comfortable with sharing my house-husbanding duties, I could potentially have some help with cooking, keeping the house clean, and other things that my wife and kids are unable or unwilling to do.
I really hope 2024 is the year we finally get our bungalow project going, and I hope 2025 is a year of running a stable business. I would really like to help the people who have helped me in life, so with any profits beyond what my family I need to live a humble life, I hope to provide some financial blessings. Of course when our business is up and going we'll be able to accept crypto payments of all kinds, so Hivers will be very welcom.
