Hi, I'm Srey-Yuu (@srey-yuu), and welcome to my ASEAN Hive Top 3. I found three posts from @kriang3teejoe, @viviehardika, and @putu300.
"ASEAN Hive Top 3" 🌏 November 12th - November 17th, 2024
Hi, everyone I'm back with another 3 posts from some amazing people in ASEAN Hive. The first one is made by @putu300. The people really did decorate the place really beautiful. That is a lot of celebration I guess the town is going to be busy for the week. Anyway the ornate bamboo pole looks really cool and it must take a long time to make each pole. I didn't know any celebration here that only happen every 30 years.
The next post is made by @viviehardika. Well those breakfast looks really appetizing. Breakfast here are usually pork/chicken rice with like pickles and sauce, there is also seasoned porridge which is usually fish or chicken. I've never heard of vegetable nuggets but I wonder if it is vegan or not, but it is called vegetable nugget so it is probably a vegan or vegetarian dish.
The last is post made by @kriang3teejoe. I've always wonder how people celebrate Loy Krathong in Thailand, here we called it Bandet Prahtit. It is pretty similar with the lantern and the floating the mini boat thing. I would really love to see the dance it must be really fun to watch the kids dance traditional dance. They are so cute too.
A massive celebration in Ubud, Bali
by:@putu300(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ) When I was in Ubud, I noticed something different. A massive festival was underway. As I walked through the Ubud market, even the statue of the Ubud King at the main crossroads caught my attention—it was beautifully decorated with flowers and yellow and white fabric, marking its sacredness. Crossing the main street to the palace, I saw huge penjors (ornate bamboo poles) lining the streets.
Recalling My Childhood's Breakfast
by:@viviehardika(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ) When planning to go to Pengalengan, my friends had already planned many things and I just followed because I already trusted their choice, and I didn't want to bother finding out many things. So that morning, when we arrived in Bandung City, we had breakfast at one of the cafes that went viral on social media. My two friends had already discussed it, and I just followed them. Of course, they had surfed social media and found many recommended places to eat.
Happy on Loy Krathong Festival with family, Thailand.
by:@kriang3teejoe(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ) Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. Yesterday was the Loi Krathong festival in Thailand. In my district, there were activities for this year's Loy Krathong Festival for 3 days. And yesterday was the last day of this year's Loy Krathong Festival in my district. My granddaughter's school had an activity with the subdistrict municipality yesterday too. And the school sends children (Kindergarten 1 - 3) to participate in dance shows at night. This year my granddaughter represented the school in kindergarten 3 for the dance shows at the subdistrict municipality.
