Hi all,
Welcome back at my #running blog. After finishing my Coast Marathon last weekend, I tried to waste no time and did a quick turn around for my next marathon in early April - the NN Marathon Rotterdam on 13th of April. I did reduce my milage a bit aiming at a weekly total of 60 km rather than 70-90km, which would be normal for 2 months out of my next big event, but no use getting injured!
With today’s run my progress is 39.9km - so on tomorrow’s (easy) long run I will do the remaining 20-ish km.
Today was a fun day - having loads of quality time with my girls went brushing some shetland pony’s - after which we visited my parents. Great time! I was able to squize in a quick half hour of running right after dinner while my kids were watching Mickey’s Clubhouse 😆 which is a perfect little break to squize in some me - time!
Right after dinner is normally not my best time to run (for me that is early morning) as going too fast or far can easily result in stomage issues. So I picked a shorter distance and a fun but comfortable pace.
Fun!
Tomorrow early morning (in about 11h) I should go for this weekend’s longer run. Curious how that is going to be as tonight the temperature is expected to go below -5 C. But if it is not too slippery that should not be an issue!
Happy running
