The popular exchange has introduced a rewards program for its global customers, offering a 4 percent reward on USD Coin (USDC). USDC is a stablecoin designed to maintain a value pegged to the US dollar. It is backed by reserve assets, including cash, held in accounts with regulated financial institutions in the US.

This move by Coinbase aims to provide additional benefits to its users and strengthen the appeal of stablecoins in the volatile crypto market.
