Crafting all the drums

in #hive-195370last year

One of the things I like about @risingstargame is that you can play it in different ways. You can go all out for maximum earnings or you can do the various side-games and missions to achieve various goals.

A while back I decided to try and get all the crafted production cards. I got there after 2447 missions. Each of those costs 1000 Starbits and takes five minutes. I got that set at the start of this year and moved onto the drums cards. I already had some, but it has taken me over six months to complete that set.

Last drum card

D3133 was the last one I needed. It was relying on me getting the Gold Stands part, which seems to be rare. I got plenty of the other gold parts along the way, so I have crafted lots of cards I did not really need. I tend to do the production lessons to top up my skill, so the drums cards only really add to my total cards in the league table where I am currently in 21st place. I will never have as many total cards as most of the people above me, but I am 3rd for unique cards.

So I could go for the guitar cards next to be a completist. There are only the three different crafting missions so far. I know of at least one person who has complete sets of all three.

I do not run crafting missions all day. Generally I run the normal ones to top up my Starbits, but I do pay StarPro to do the Promote Fan Club missions to get all the cards that gives. It looks like only seven people are keeping up with those. I got the latest one (FC86) today and it shows that one two have been issued so far. I am not sure if anyone is selling the latest FC cards, but they are really rare. Most do not really help you in the game, but this one did boost my fans. I do crafting missions to use up spare energy.

FC84 Trenton Lundy

@trentonlundy1 was on the earliest legendary card. He lost control of his original account, but is now near the top of the game league. You should check out his funky music.

I do not have all the legendary cards as they are pretty expensive and I need my $HIVE for powering up. I mostly fund my game habit with what I earn in the game. I also buy a fair few music NFTs in the game that help my unique count.

The game developer @atomcollector (aka @jux) keeps adding new features. I have not got into the raves sub-game, but that seems popular.

This is where I stand for now. I intend to keep on playing.

Rock on!

Sort:

People used to stop playing it before but as you mentioned now there are a lot of new things in it so maybe they will start playing it again because it's a lot more interesting now.

The game seem to be nice
Wanted to learn but time did not let me.
I was never chanced

You just have to click something now and again, so it does not need much time. Not everyone has the time or inclination to play games.

U may be the only person that has both of my cards! U should get some kind of award for that! 😁

Hey @trentonlundy1, here is a little bit of BEER from @steevc for you. Enjoy it!

Did you know that <a href='https://dcity.io/cityyou can use BEER at dCity game to buy cards to rule the world.

LOL! I just like collecting the cards. I'll never catch up with you in the league though.

!BEER

You got me beat crafting instruments. I have 6 drumsets to go for that collection

Very cool Steve! Well done! I have recently taken to trying to complete my production set again but MAN, it really does take perseverance! Congratulations on completing both sets! And definitely worth all those unique cards! !PIZZA

It is crazy how many missions you need to run. I could go hundreds before getting a card I needed, but I would sometimes get two in a day. I don't think the algorithm distributed the parts evenly as some were hard to get.

Dear @mimismartypants, you just got hugged.

The amount of white panels I have stacked is insane! What do you do with all the leftover parts?

There was supposed to be some feature to use them, but I don't think it is implemented yet. I have so many silver cymbals.

collecting all the crafted instruments is a heck of a chore, and a great accomplishment. Congrats on completing drums. I'm still working on the guitars 15 out of 36 crafted. Gold machineheads and gold strings appear to be very rare (the part types that are only available in gold/silver, no black). Not sure why that is, maybe bad RNG.

I do wonder about the randomness as some drum and production parts were really hard to get. I'm doing guitars, but no new gold parts yet.

I should try playing it again but keep forgetting 🙄

It's a habit for me. I miss it when I can't play :)

😄

Yes you should! :P

😄 Ok..
Mission started.. ha

I had kinda forgotten about this game. Is there still development on it?

It keeps evolving, but it's a small team. They issue a load of new cards each month that someone needs to design. The raves feature was previewed at Hivefest where I was part of the act :)

Have heard some few positive results about this game, whats confusing is that am still tryna figure out the story behind this game, what are players fighting for, or engaged with?

You have certainly shown some tenacity to get all those crafted cards, well done!

You say "Most do not really help you in the game" about the FC cards but they actually help with Raves (which you state you haven't tried so you wouldn't know so fair enough) because you need the FC card and to have completed the related Fan Club mission to run "Record Signing". Record Signing gives you a random FA card which you can send to raves to get a share of the reward pool.

You should give Raves a try, you know you want to!

Jux.

I did do the record signing initially, but have been focusing on the missions since. I just can't do it all, but it's still fun. I think I did at least one rave.

There's an amazing amount of posts about the game. You've built something great.
