Fitness: 11th April 2024 + A Did You Know Fitness Question

Good Morning

After yesterday’s run, I got up at 4:30 a.m. for my second day in continuation. However, since yesterday my ankles have been hurting. This is not a new phenomenon and has been happening for a couple of years, at least. It’s a funny pain.

Why funny? The pain emanates only when I start running and surprisingly not when I am running. So, I have the pain when I start to run, and goes off when I run and returns once I stop running. You may think it has to do with my body warming up and hence me not feeling the pain during the run. But that’s not the case. I have been running for years now and I know the difference. Anyway, that’s something I have to unearth.

So, what did I do today?

Since I was up in the morning, I meditated. I used Dr. Dispenza’s blessing the energy center meditation. After that, I hopped on to a few sessions of Ho’oponopono. One of the things that I like to do is find metaphysical reasons for ailments. I like Louise Hay’s book on this topic. Since my ankle has been hurting for long for no obvious or apparent reason, I went ahead and checked it out. Here’s what it says.

Ankle (Issues): Inflexibility and guilt. Ankles represent the ability to receive pleasure.

So, I tried Ho’oponpono on inflexibility and guilt. I don’t think I have resolved it yet, but I will keep trying. The most curious point is ankles represent our ability to receive pleasure. I wonder, how I am stopping that from happening. Further introspection is required from my side. Let’s see where it goes.

And since I have spoken so much about Ho’oponopono, you might want to know what it is all about. Here is my write-up on Ho’oponopono for those interested in learning more.

Have fun reading and practicing.

Anyway, that's it from me for now. I will see you all tomorrow.

Namaste.

Did You Know?

Okay, this is one of the unexpected records, but it is interesting nonetheless. The fun part is not many of you would know about it. Did you know there is a record for going up a flight of stairs with a person on your head? Yeah, there is.

Giang Quoc Nghiep and Giang Quoc Co, both brothers, hold the record. The brother went up 100 stairs while balancing the other on his head. The record was created on 23rd December 2021. The Vietnam nationals went up 100 stairs in just 53.6 seconds.

Have a look at the video here:

The question is - can we go up 100 stairs in 53.6 seconds? Forget about the load on the head.
