Fitness: 23rd January 2024 + A Did You Know Fitness Question

Good Morning

So, today is the second day after the marathon, and I went out for a run. This is the first time I am running within a day of the marathon. Usually, I would give running a week’s break before resuming again. Now I feel running at the earliest is the best thing to do. After all, the body feels great after that.

There was another personal first. For the first time this year, I did the run and gym together. It was an exceptional feeling, and the sense of achievement was out of this world. There was a time when I used to cycle, swim, run, and go to the gym on the same day. Back then, I was in college. The same is not possible, at the moment, but doing two of those four is not a bad achievement.

So, how did my morning regime go?

I went out for a three-and-a-half kilometer run as I had to be back for the gym too. But I took three flyovers during the run, ensuring I had enough resistance run. After the run, I headed to the gym.

Today I was to focus on my shoulders. A total of nine variations of three sets each was what I had to do. That was a total of twenty-seven sets, each with reps ranging from five to ten. That was crazy good. I love it when I push the limits. So, after a well-done morning regime, I headed home.

At home, I had to go through a few sessions of Ho’oponopono to conclude my morning regime. Here is my write-up on Ho’oponopono for those interested in knowing more.

Have fun reading and practicing.

Anyway, that's it from me for now. I will see you all tomorrow.

Namaste.

Did You Know?

Okay, this is one of the unexpected records, but it is interesting nonetheless. The fun part is not many of you would know about it. Did you know there is a record for going up a flight of stairs with a person on your head? Yeah, there is.

Giang Quoc Nghiep and Giang Quoc Co, both brothers, hold the record. The brother went up 100 stairs while balancing the other on his head. The record was created on 23rd December 2021. The Vietnam nationals went up 100 stairs in just 53.6 seconds.

Have a look at the video here:

The question is - can we go up 100 stairs in 53.6 seconds? Forget about the load on the head.
