They said life is like water and we get to flow as we continue coming across each other. I guess most times we just happen to meet with those whom we are fated to meet in life, some would come to happen like coincidence, some would come expected and some unexpected.
There was a night when I was coming from the bus stop where I went to collect my delivery. I ordered some day-old chicks and then the supplier called me to wait for him at the bus stop. I don't know why drivers are always so cunning and full of lies. They can't be trusted in any way.
He told me that he is already closer so i should wait for him at the agreed spot, which i did even earlier before then. I got there and I had to stand for hours calling him then he was still saying he would be there soon. Please for how long?
I stood there patiently waiting for his arrival. And finally he arrived. By the time he would arrive, the weather already changed and it became so cloudy like it was about to rain. I had to rush the transaction so I could be on my way before it started raining as the chicks might be affected if exposed to the cold weather.
I got to the place where I have to pick a bike and I was given triple the price I am to pay on a normal day. But why? Then the bike man was on the stand that the road is bad and it's about to rain. So they knew people won't have a choice unless they want to get wet in the rain.
I really got myself in a messed up situation. If I had extra funds then I can just take the bike at the costly price and save the chicks that are worth more than the bike price.
I started trekking forward with the hope that even if it would rain, then I might have gotten a bike man to pick me at a fair price. All of a sudden I saw a bike man parked closer to me. Then i was like good! I told him where I was heading to then he said enter!. It's okay, I balanced myself and asked him to ride on.
When I get to the farm, I have to keep the chicks safe. I was glad I could make it up before the rainfall. I was about to remove the money from my pocket to pay the bike man. Then the next thing i heard was. Alfa don't worry! Oooh. Alfa? How come you know me?
He said that I am the one that does pray for them in the mosque, so I might not know them but they know me very well. He kickstarter his bike and zoomed off. Oooh. That was unexpected. Like he was godsent.
Immediately his bike zoomed off, then the rain started pouring heavily. I quickly ran inside and then kept the chicks save. Only if I could see the face of the bike man again. But I didn’t recognize him.
I was so grateful for his kind gesture and I hope someday he would get a payback for his actions. There are lot of bad people in the world but that’s doesn’t reduce the count of the good ones.
