We all know that February is considered the month of Love because most of people around the world celebrate Valentine's Day, which somehow is now more of a festival or celebration for love than the original one which held religious meanings. as the celebration is now commercialized, it is more of a way for the companies to attracts its customer. The hard truth of consumerism and capitalism.
But here, we have something different, it usually will be a month of rejection. Where a group of people try to encourage the young of all the people to ban the celebration, and label it as a bad one, and not fit for our Eastern world standard.
The problem is that sometimes those people choose violent approaches when they want to promote their rejection. This is even a lot more contradictory to the Eastern Culture, where they are supposed to do things more politely. By taking a shield under the majority religion, those people will feel that they are superior to those who celebrate, or just enjoy the festive for the special occasion, and have nothing to do with religion.
Recently they even make a rejection of the Chinese New Year ornament on one of the government buildingss, which was supposed to accommodate all religions, but instead, they wanted it to be just for themselves. These kind of stupid rejection, under the name of one religion growing a lot more int he recent decade that those in the old days where people will just enjoy everything, blend well within the society no matter their religion, and what they celebrate.
