Hello StemSocial Community! Welcome to my blog. Urbanization is doing its best to make us Civilized, but it is also causing irreparable harm to our planet. When a rural area is changed into a city, some people feel happiness but no one will think about other living things like plants and animals. Today I have decided to share some current Environmental Issues raised by blind human activities.
- Biodiversity Loss
- Overpopulation
- Ozon Depletion
The above three Environmental Issues are constant threats to our globe. We have to work on the environment to make it better and better.
1. Biodiversity Loss
When a Village is changed into a City, a country can be said to be progressing, but the other living things are disturbed due to this change. For example, when we build new buildings, we need wood, space, and other stuff that we directly take from our environment. To get shelter, we cut thousands of trees that are home to many birds, shadows for wildlife, and comfortable nich for many microbes. It is the main reason deforestation is responsible for the extent of many species on this planet.
2. Overpopulation
It is a second big environmental issue. Our cities are now more saturated with people. By improving the standard of life, we have increased the feasibility of life. One of the big outcomes is overpopulation in smaller areas. Yeah, now the increase in the number of people is more than 180 individuals per minute.
3. Ozone Depletion
Deforestation and air pollution are the main sources of ozone depletion. It is the main reason, we are getting more and more skin and eye problems. The entry of cosmic radiation due to the depletion of the ozone layer is burning this planet.
Final Thoughts
The Imbalance between Human Activities and Natural Resources can result in severe losses. We need to make balance in everything. By destroying nature, we can't build a comfortable niche with machines. We have to understand the requirements of nature. We should promote reforestation, discourage overpopulation, and should avoid ozone layer depletion. These things can save our planet; otherwise, there is nothing that will save us from destruction.
