Healing Through Food: Cooking As A Remedy For Stress

After giving several interviews and not getting a satisfactory result, I was feeling stress. It is a hazardous type of stress that can engulf one's life. Today, I was thinking of doing something that will keep my mind and body busy. Hence, I decided to do Cooking which is my all-time favorite hobby. Nowadays when I'm under stress, I love to get relief from it by Cooking. Yes, Cooking can help us in controlling mind and all Negative Thoughts. Due to the following three reasons, it is a game changer in stress.

1. Aromatherapy From Species
2. Mindfulness Through Chopping And Stirring
3. Creativity Boost

Due to the above interesting facts, Cooking is my 1st choice when negativity becomes dominant in my mind. I like to chop vegetables and love to stir constantly until I become successful in cooking my favorite dish.

1. Aromatherapy From Species


I like Chicken Dishes a lot. My favorite Chicken Dish is Biryani. During cooking aroma of Chicken, Beef, and Mutton has a soothing effect on my mind. Different scents from different vegetables are good for calming my mind.


2. Mindfulness Cooking


Two days ago, I shared my post about the importance of Mindfulness Meditation. Cooking can act as a big Mindfulness source. Whenever I was feeling stressed, entered my kitchen, started chopping vegetables and onions, and kept myself busy stirring liquor from vegetables and meat. Cooking needs to focus on everything whether it is chunk size or is amount of different ingredients.


3. Creativity Boost


Cooking helps us in engaging different creative things. I like to try different dishes, love to present something new, and am happy to share different things about cooking. Currently, I'm learning to cook Mughali Biryani. It is one of my dreams to make myself a big Chef expert in different dishes of Biryani.


Final Thoughts


More than Average Cases of Suicides are caused by Stress. In this modern era, it is easy to control it. There are many training courses for this purpose. Moreover, we can get help from Artificial Intelligence. Different people have different tricks for Mindfulness Meditation. I have selected Cooking as my Mindfulness Tool. It is my best and most creative Activity to keep my mind away from all sorts of negativities. It is an art whose aroma and fragrance are enough to calm my mind.
