Hope you are well.
The flowers of the Garden have said 'Adieu'..so what better subject to turn to than fruit. The masters painted many an artwork teeming with fruit. Should you have an opportunity to view such classic works by.... Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio, Cornelis van Spaendonck, Willem van Aelst or Jan Davidsz de Heem ...please do.
Fruit has a freshness, a promise of satisfaction that never fails to give pleasure at the sight of it. Thus a fruit basket or bowl is a welcome sight. Hopefully a painting of fruit can at least bring beauty and elegance to it's setting.
