I have just heard about this fun initiative by @ablaze for #threetunetuesday! Well, I want to jump in on this action here at BlockTunes! For now, I will be just sharing our contributions, but we are looking at ways of creating a station or playlists for the pics of the week from the community. This is such a fun cover of the popular Cameo song, in only a way the KoRn can do it! It's one of those songs that if you are down, will certainly make pick you vibe up and make you get your groove on!
Thunderkiss 1965 by White Zombie
If talking about Heavy Metal, one of our favorites is White Zombie! There is some history there with our crew so they have always been one of the favorites. I got to see Rob Zombie and his band live and they slammed 'Thunderkiss 1965', which is one of the old White Zombie classics. It was awesome to say the least 🤘🏻🤘🏻 If this one doesn't get your ass shaking and boots stomping, I don't know how to help you!
Disillusioned by A Perfect Circle
Now, A Perfect Circle led by Maynard James Keenan (also with Tool and Puscifur) is more progressive rock than heavy metal, but this song has been on my heart lately with all of the madness in the world. Some of these bands are telling us what's happening, we just need to listen! 'Disillusioned' is one of the popular tracks on the band's latest album, 'Eat The Elephant', that came out in 2020 during the heart of the madness. Take a listen and take it to heart!
