Hello CineTV
Summer is almost here and for a lot of people I know this is a time to drink a cold beer. I wish I enjoyed beer as much as them but to be honest it isn't for me. The party scene looks so enticing and there are times that I feel like I am missing out. Movies are a way to get a view of this lifestyle, real or not.
Thank you to all of those that participated this week. We are still working towards more entries. Please encourage others to enter the contest. Thanks again and...
Let's get to this week's winners:
First Place
The first place finisher was @wisejg with a review of The Greatest Beer Run Ever, found here: https://peakd.com/hive-121744/@wisejg/cinetv-contest-the-greatest-beer-run-ever-eng-esp
I couldn't think of a better movie for this contest...except maybe Beerfest. Great movie choice and review. Congrats!
Second place
In second place we have @ksmith7 with their choice of Good Will Hunting, here: https://peakd.com/hive-121744/@ksmith7/my-election-en-movies-with-beers-cinetv-constest61-eng-esp
Thank you for the personal touch in your review! I also really liked Good Will Hunting and the pub scenes are classic. Thank you!
Third place
Our third place winner in this contest is @mypathtofire with their choice of Trainspotting and can be found here: https://peakd.com/hive-121744/@mypathtofire/cinetv-contest-trainspotting
A crazy movie for sure that shows the crazy side of drinking and drugs. Love the commentary about drinking in theaters, that was never a thing for us growing up either.
Congrats!
225 CINE COINS and 100 Ecency Points will be transferred to the winners.
Now if anyone disagrees with our choices then please tag us in a comment on this post!
And let's move on to the new contest!
Favorite Arnold Schwartzenegger Movie
On to our next contest! Thank you to @ecency for sponsoring our Cine TV contests! Check them out at ecency.com. 🙂
I have been home sick for the last few days and I have been watching movies and scrolling on my phone. As an American, I am a huge fan of American football. The Detroit Lions are my favorite professional team and have been the butt of jokes for a long time, right @bozz! I just saw an article that said that the Lions are projected to make the Super Bowl. This would be a huge thing for me and the fanbase. And some might consider that a sign that the end of days is drawing near.
For this contest I am not asking everyone to become American football fans, in fact I am going to say that I prefer you pick American football films but if they are not popular then you may also choose a futbol movie as well. Or as we would call it soccer. You get to choose, but choose wisely!
Are you familiar with American football? Is it popular where you are? How does it compare to soccer? What about this film made you choose it for the contest? If you had to pick a different sport to write a review about what would it be? Do you have any personal stories related to American football or soccer?
Those are just some ideas to get you started. Please be original
and write a creative response to the topic. Don't retell the plot or plagiarize. Originality is required for curation and to be considered for the contest.
I look forward to reading your selections. Have a great week!
Please check out the list of rules and suggestions below or feel free to ask me in the Discord channel if you have any questions (caulderfreeman). Enjoy this week's contest and good luck!
