This is @danaidhbee singing to you all the way from Scotland with my “BRAND NEW SONG!” - ‘You Fill My Soul’ - played on the keyboard.
Today I would like to share with you a very personal song, it’s brand new this week! I recorded this last night on my keyboard. They are old lyrics, but new melodies! on an “un-practiced” instrument, one which I rarely play, the keyboard!
Please bear in mind that if I don’t smile very much it is because I have had 3 facial reconstructions on my left cheekbone and have existing nerve damage.
Someone (insensitively) commented on my post last night saying “it’s alright to get a couple of smiles in ogre land” (im not going to mention them but you can go see for yourself) - now if that’s a “racist dig” at us Scot’s then I am offended! Or if theyre referring to me as shrek, then “f*** you!” I have Autism, ADHD, and OCD and have had 3 major operations. I can’t always smile all the time or feel like it, why do people have to try force people to smile with cheeky comments?? Get to f*** ! I’ll smile whenever and wherever I want and need to or where appropriate. Honestly, I wasn’t happy. Do not comment on peoples faces and telling them to smile especially when you don’t know shit about them!
Aaanyway! Moving on… So today I have decided to post my song and see what people think, I think it’s very “Bill Withers’y” cross “Elton John-ish” haha.
