This is an interesting week for everyone to join the weekend-engagement concept, which was initiated by the founder of the Weekend Experiences community, sir @galenkp. I have read a few of the entries this week, and I can tell that everybody was excited to come up with their entries. I loved how the members of the community became so creative, exerted so much effort, and wisely chose what they would write about. Thus, that makes the weekend engagement more exciting and fun.

As usual, there are four topics we can choose from, and we will pick one, then try to expand and answer your chosen topic. But I chose the third topic on the list, which I think is a good one for me. The topic is quite interesting and suitable for young people like me. The concept was about the Weekend Kissing Booth with a question stating,

“You're running a kissing booth at the local fair charging one dollar for each kiss. Who would you like the first three people in the lineup and why? The people can be literally anyone on the planet from past or present, except your current partner or spouse.”

The history room 401-A was deafeningly quiet, and students were yawning from the history teacher's boring discussion. Sketch, the young boy, was an exception. As the teacher spoke about historical figures, he was filled with eagerness and a spirit of inquiry. He was twirling his ballpoint pen in his fingers, alternating between his index and middle fingers. A sign that he was pleased with what he was hearing. "Whether the invention is accidental or not, the mere existence of the creation is sufficient to cover the entire development of history," his teacher said repeatedly before the bell rang.

"This happens every day; I'd like to extend the time; I'd like to hear more of it," he reasoned. Sketch managed to escape his own annoyance, strapped the bag to his back, and dashed to the school canteen. Crowded, smelly students came to view from his Korean-like eyes. "No! I'm not going to eat in this obstreperous, pungent atmosphere where I could throw up at any time," he said as he walked over to the old, semi-circle study shed on the right side of the main building. While eating his breakfast, he noticed the movement of a large metallic, robotic-like machine. He had no idea it was a science project that was supposed to send the science culminating activity, a time machine.

He went straight to the school hall where the program was being held the next day. He had forgotten that the school was celebrating its 65th anniversary. A loud cheer echoed through the covered court, confetti was strewn to the left and right, and the ear-splitting speakers were turned up to 11. He needed to pee, so he got up from the chair where he was sitting with his classmates. He exited gracefully, moving quickly and making sure no one noticed his presence. A crystallized, lustrous room piqued his inquisitiveness as he walked down the hall.

A massive metallic, robotic-like helm machine occupied the entire space. Its silver color, vibrantly shining, and embedded with multiple colorful cores compelled his insane mind to press every button he could find. The machine began to run, producing a muffled to raucous sound that astounded him. Instead of being afraid of what he did, his astonishment was stronger than any other emotion at the time. "Please enter the names you wish to summon!" a question appeared on the screen.

Sketch's hands quivered, his heart palpitated, and his mind was running amok. "Whom do I need to see? Wait!" He started to press the keys one by one, typing his most-liked scientists. The machine once again spoke, "Isaac Newton has been added! Nikola Tesla has been added! Joan of Arc has been added!" The stupefaction was all over his face, evidently shocked by the momentum. "Successfully registered! The calling of the soul and spirit progresses. 1%...50%... 100%. The souls and spirits are successfully called."

On the other hand, all of the school-mandated programs began. Students' radiant smiles were clearly visible as they enjoyed the entire festivities, from food fairs to various games. Sketch was taken in by his curiosity. The kissing booth was opened, and the appearance of the three young famous individuals captivated the audience. He crept backstage, giggling and hoping nothing bad would happen. Sketch was discovered hiding in the back by the event coordinator. "Hey! What are you doing there? Don't be shy. The kissing booth was already open, and you were the one to host, so come on!" yelled the maniacal coordinator. "Wait, me? No, I'm not. I-um, I'm just watching the booth here," he explained thoroughly, but he didn't persuade her.

He was pushed to the front, forced to host, and delivered speeches casually. The young Isaac Newton, Nikola Tesla, and Joan of Arc were flustered as the girls and boys were separated. The three were well-known for their belief that making love was a barrier to achieving one's goals in life. It was an excellent opportunity for the prominent names to partake in modern youthful activities before realizing that science would be the focus of their lives.

The day ended brightly, programs were well-attended, and Sketch had satisfied his curiosity. The three summoned youths were given the option of returning to where they came from. The adventurous, fierce kissing booth has taken over The One's salad days. The magnetic portal appeared as the time machine gradually came to life. Sketch waved goodbye as a bid signal. The three teenagers smiled, bowed their heads, and said their final farewells. "I love it! I'll name one of my successful inventions after you, Sketch!" smirked the young boy, pulling all the plugs from the outlet and start fleeing.

Ang cute ng name Sketch! :) I'm floating again, Den! Never failed me to marvel your writing!

Actually, since I have nothing to come up with the name. I remember that you were sketching and drawing before so, I named the character there. Quite simple explanation though. Lol! Thanks so much @jijisaurart. Love it!

Amazing as usual...
But I was expecting you pulling out girls names and you'll join the kissing booth too and kiss the three selected girls 🤣..

Gosh! I cannot do that. How I wish I can kiss a girl(s) but my body is not responding to that. I have experienced the kissing booth before, but the matchy one is famous back then.

Really? Haha. Lalaki ka naman so why not 😂

Ang kulit hahaha. Sanaol sketch

I appreciated this @ecency. It's wonderful to be voted.

Where did you get that name? and so unique, sketch. Peru grabe kakaiba talaga ang napili mong tatlong tao. As always, galing talaga ni @dennnmarc gumawa ng story.

I got the name from the inspiration of drawing and digital arts. Sketching is what they usually do first and I think the name Sketch is a good one. Sounds like a good boy but a bit stubborn a the same time. Yeah, the three names were based on ancient names which contributed many useful inventions nowadays. Thanks so much ate @jenthoughts.
