We finally are getting some warm weather here and some sunshine. I really hate how hot it gets here in the summer time, but I am so glad when winter is finally getting over it starts to warm up. Right now it is in the mid 70s and it feels awesome. Too bad the weather can't be like this year round. That would be perfect.

I have read how it is good for your chameleons to get some real sunshine and I have been waiting for it to be warm enough to let Yoshi get outside and explore while getting some vitamins from the sun.

He really seemed to love it outside and he quickly changed into some really bright colors. I can tell he was happy because he just sat there for a while soaking it all in as he changed colors.

Chameleons are really interesting pets and I am learning new things about them all the time. Luckily there aren't any bugs out yet so I won't need to worry about him eating something that he shouldn't. I kept a close eye on him to make sure he didn't wander off or get into anything. When he decided to move, he really started scootin across the grass.

It was really good for him to get outside in the fresh air and soak up some sun rays. I think he is going to really love doing this more often. I may need to look into getting another cage for him that is just for him to be outside in so he can be out for longer so he can get more vitamins.

he has great colors

Thanks man

Awesome photos. He looks so happy :)

He seemed to love it outside. I can't wait to do this more often with him.

How beautiful, I love his name 😊

Thanks. He is a ton of fun.

Doesn't it run away? Around here we have some really fast ones out in the wild; impossible to get close.

The color is so pretty. I cant ever imagine to keep one myself but i always love looking at other people’s. Hope you have a nice day.

They are a lot of work, but they can be fun as well.

Just look at Yoshi's pretty colors. He's such a cute one! I wish I could let my Ackie out of his cage and get some real sun but he'd just run away and I'd never be able to catch him again.

Is Ackie a chameleon too?

Oh I'm sorry for being so cryptic - Ackie monitor, his name is Kiito and he is very, very fast and still small. One of these days I'll finally get a post up about him.

My turtles the same as him when I bring him out into the garden in the good weather haha. Love working away in the summer and letting him roam around.

That first shot of Yoshi is epic man. Dun dah, dun dah, dun dah dun dan duna dun. LoL trying to write the Jurassic Park theme is hard. But, I think I got it. Also that's pretty cool about the bright colours, I'd love to see a chameloan in real life.

I have always wanted a turtle too. Maybe when we move to our next place, I will get some. I want to have a tiny farm or something, lol.

A farm would be so cool man, I found this guy from Australia on YouTube last week, his channel is called self sufficiant me. He grows tons of different kinds of food, I ended up watching a bunch of his videos he's really informative and funny

He's a Florida Cooter turtle, he's cool man I've had him since I was 11 so he's about 16/ 17 now, when I first got him he could only come out of the water for an hour but now, he could stay out for a day or more basking under his light. Pretty friendly, but he likes to do his own thing.

It's funny, they're renowned for being a bit destructive. I got him a bunch of ornements and plants for his tank and he just destroyed them all and had rearranged it by the next morning, some of the things he even buried. They're really controling about their tanks.

That is so cool. I think it would be cool to have some turtles and other animals that just roam the land.

I had this idea for him, that when I get my own place I would build a pond underneath a decking with a hatchs I could open to feed him, made of glass so I could look into it. With light fittings for a heat lamp above an island in the centre of the pond for him to bask. Also a pump and heaters since it's Ireland.

I got a paddling pool last summer to give him a bigger place to swim while I was doing stuff outside. But, I looked up after a while and there were two sea-gulls circling above it so I decided the pool was maybe a bad idea.

Hopefully you can figure something out for him.
