In the city center of Pretoria, South Africa, you will find Church Square. The square has no church, but there used to be originally. It has functioned as a market place as well. There has been more than one church here. The first was built in 1855. The second burnt down. They never built a new, but the square is still called Church Sq. The square is surronded by several beautiful, historic buildings. Most of them dates back to the 19th century. The square has always been a place where people get to gether.
