As some of you might know, for one year long I took various walks in town to explore the dozens of street arts that were added on different parts of Sibiu during the editions of Sibiu International Street Art Festival known also as SISAF.
This festival brings artists from all over the globe to expose their talents to various buildings, each year coming with its main theme.
Sadly, I couldn't find any winter theme amongst these, but I did observe that some of the murals do have frosty/winterish elements, such as ice or cold colours, which made me create the theme by myself! So grab yourself a cup of hot chocolate and let's dive into some frosty street art!
This post is also going to take part in CCC's Street Art Contest #227!
First, and perhaps, my favourite of this edition although it was quite hard to pick, is represented by a girl with her cat. Just as the title of the mural suggests, we are speaking of a story about a girl who travels accompanied by her paw friend but... in her dreams! Both kids and cats are usually very curious by nature and that made the mural come alive with the two playing the main role in some frosty and interesting dreams.

Next up we have the artistic definition of how a human being can become one and the same with nature if she or he lets himself/herself belong to this magic place that has its very own energy depending on the season. Such as, no matter what the season is, the green and blue colors always are there, whether they can be found through waterfalls, trees or other things offered by nature. The single thing we need to do, is to let both our mind and heart wide open in order to become part of the life and call ourselves alive!

The next mural represents a parallel between the daily routines and nature where everything is so different from each other and we only have our own person who can link the two. Such as, even if we can meet eternity through nature, we often call ourselves satisfied by the artificial and technologic time offered in our daily routines.

The 4th pick of today's themed post comes with a large frosty globe composed of many heads of people that is meant to represent a hybrid world made of many cultures, characters and behaviours all belonging to the same place. Such as, colors, minds and genes can be the main elements that make us different but they are not powerful enough to actually not let us all live together, just as we all belong to this beautiful blockchain.

Last but not least, here comes the most suggestive street art for this frosty themed post, but which, sadly, was part of a temporary exhibition and information about who the artist is, the title or the story of the mural, are not available anymore. Either way, I think we can all agree that it's a minimalist scenery that we all could never get enough of.
