Today is day 822 of participation,

I recieved a message form school that they are taking the kids to a picnic spot next week. When I reached home in the evening Gurseerat with excitement asked me if she can also go to picnic. I just for fun says no, me and my wife were laughing form inside after seeing her face expression. I told her that I was just joking and she can join the picnic along with other students. The kids really get excited for such activity, till now we have not allowed her to go alone for such outing activities but now I guess she is old enough to take care of herself and that was the reason I said yes to her.

मुझे स्कूल से संदेश मिला कि वे अगले सप्ताह बच्चों को पिकनिक पर ले जा रहे हैं। जब मैं शाम को घर पहुँचा तो गुरसीरत ने उत्साह से मुझसे पूछा कि क्या वह भी पिकनिक पर जा सकती है। मैंने बस मज़ाक में मना कर दिया, मैं और मेरी पत्नी उसके चेहरे के भाव देखकर अंदर से हँस रहे थे। मैंने उससे कहा कि मैं बस मज़ाक कर रहा था और वह अन्य छात्रों के साथ पिकनिक में शामिल हो सकती है। बच्चे वास्तव में ऐसी गतिविधियों के लिए उत्साहित होते हैं, अब तक हमने उसे ऐसी गतिविधियों के लिए अकेले जाने की अनुमति नहीं दी थी, लेकिन अब मुझे लगता है कि वह खुद की देखभाल करने के लिए पर्याप्त बड़ी हो गई है और यही कारण था कि मैंने उसे हाँ कहा।
