Welcome to a new edition of the Hive Naija Weekly Prompts. This initiative is one of our activities to explore our creativity and foster connections amongst ourselves.
Whether you're a seasoned creator or just discovering the joy of expressing your thoughts, these prompts are crafted to inspire and ignite your creativity, as well as interact with the creativity of others in the community.
Last Edition's Winners:
What a blast this week! We had 26 of you share beautiful memories and heartfelt response with us! We appreciate every participant for taking giant strides to expand their minds with the last edition's prompts. Many were as beautiful as they came. And there are a few that we want to showcase for their exceptional entries and level of engagement in the community.

Josh found himself standing alone at a bus stop, drenched in the rain under a dim, flickering streetlamp. He could not remember how he got there or where he was going, but something inside of him told him he had to get on the bus. He looked down the empty, misty road and felt a chill crawl up his spine.
Second Place

Growing up, I was a serious, sensitive, and well-behaved child driven by an intense desire for my parents’ approval. The expectations placed upon me were high, and I often felt the weight of those expectations. My father, while not overly strict, could become quite formidable when he was angry
Third Place

The hall was crowded and loud music was blasting from the speakers at the rear end of the room. Speakers that had the shape of skulls drawn on them. It's October 31st and everybody is gathered for the Moon Night Ball. A ball held once every year for inhabitants of O'Neal city.
Congratulations to these talented individuals for their outstanding contributions. Now, we would like mention a few other entries that we deem exceptional.
This Week's Prompts:
📝 A lot is happening among the teenagers today, and it's disappointing that sometimes they neglect the lessons from their parents. Let's imagine a female child got impregnated while seeking admission into the university. What would be your next line of action as a parent?
📝 Smelling nice is part of body care, but there are people who still don't take it seriously. How do you handle people who smell terrible around you and share with us how you ensure you smell nice always?
Guidelines:
- Pick a prompt, craft a masterpiece, and be unique with your title.
- Ensure your entry is at least 500 words
- Use copyright-free images and properly source them; indicate if they belong to you.
