Howdy, world :)
It's a cold, grey Wednesday brrrr!😰 My Yongi and I are traveling to my old folks today. They didn't want a helper in their house so my siblings and I have decided to take turns in looking after them. Tonight's my turn through Saturday morning as my sister is reporting to her 9-5.
But before that let me just share some reflection photographs as my non-contest participation in the Reflection Hunting challenge by Olgavita.
These were taken in the medical center where Mom was confined for treatment a week ago. It's the same place where I have hunted some of the shadows that I wrote about previously.
In the photo below, the ramps and railings (even their shadows) were mirrored on the glass windows.
This picture caught both shadows and reflections. While the photo is blurry, I just had to include it, lol! I like the green reflection of the "EXIT" signage on the floor.
These on the other hand, are inside Mom's PR. The windows are reflective during the night when the lights are switched on, mirroring the inside of the room.
This is what we see through the windows when the bright lights inside the room are out and only the backlight by Mom's bed is on. Forgive me for the poor shot. My phone cam isn't that smart at taking pictures, especially at nighttime, lol!
Our view during the daytime. The room overlooks the provincial sports complex and other nearby facilities. My bed was just beside the windows and it is where I sit and keep my laptop table when I'm online, especially when mother is sleeping. I'm not a phone user so I often bring the bigger screen with me whenever I'm away from home.
These are just a few of the many mementos I've had in that hospital. They added a bit of fun and good distraction from the mundane stuff. There had been horrible moments during those days but I intend to remember the good and lighthearted ones.
Thank you and until the next hunt!
