Here we are again, a few hours into a new month according to UTC reckoning. According to my reckoning, it's been three months or so since February 1st. But I survived the cold, gray bleak eternity of midwinter!

February Post Archive
January Retrospective and February Plans, last month's edition of this post.
A Winter Haiku, wherein I bemoan the season's misery.
February 2024 LEO Power Up Day, Halfway through the month, and only my third post?
Attribution vs. Appeals to Authority, Philosophical reflection on a common rhetorical subversion.
The UK Wants to Ban WHAT? Stupid laws proposed across the pond.
Back to Morrowind! Revisiting an old game through a new engine.
Three Tune Tuesday: Cheerful Oddities, in which I share three songs you probably haven't heard before from three different genres with some notes about their origin and history.
Leap Day, Leap Year, Leaping Into the Unknown, a brief note on the occasion and some personal reflections on change.
Not a lot of writing. Some of this is winter blahs sapping my creativity. Some of it is because I have been playing games like Morrowind. Some of this is because I am trying to plan some changes for later this year.
March Plans
I have no blogging projects in the works. Expect continued intermittent content. I may write about serious topics I'm pondering, or frivolous day-to-day activities.
I plan to try harder to engage on Leo Threads, as I only started interacting there over the past couple weeks. I think I still prefer PeakD for long-form posts like this one. I still feel loyalty to this platform dating back to the old SteemPeak era. I should probably give Ecency another go, too, though. It never hurts to know one's way around more frontends for the HIVE ecosystem.
Power Up Day
The first of the month is normally Hive Power Up Day, and I have staked 100 HIVE, but @hivebuzz seems to be having issues. The website shows an error page at time of posting today. I assume @arcange is patching things up behind the scenes. Regardless of when and whether it gets restored, I like the tradition even if there are no promises of badges and accolades. Are you joining in?
