Greetings to the hive family.
Today I'll be showing us how I cut and sew a butterfly gown.
Here we have our Ankara material, lining, stone, and babylace
Firstly I fold my material by two and give out my two inches allowance for my zip and I measure out my shoulder by twenty inches cause it's a butterfly gown just like this.
After that you take your measurement from your shoulder to where or size where you want your butterfly to stop for this I used twenty inches.
And from were I measure out my twenty inches from the shoulder and stop, it's were I'll put on my shape how the down part will look just as in the photo.

After cutting your material you proceed by cutting your lining by placing your material on the lining and cut it out just like this by following the shape u cut out from your material.
You also place your material on the lace just like this and cut out your neck and after that you trim out the shape you want it to look like as for me it's round this is how I want it for the neck side and the butterfly hand side also at the arge of the butterfly you also cut out your the shape just as it is in the material.
You proceed by fixing the lace after at the neck side and also the butterfly hand side before you put your, lining and this is the outcome after the lining then you iron it.
Make sure you iron each part you join before fixing the next part you , then you proceed by fixing your stones just like the way I showed in the previous post , now this is how it looks after everything and our butterfly gown is set.
Thank you 😊
